Amazing Dumplings.I passed by West 4th last Night and they have a Food truck now. Wasn't sure which one to get so the guy suggested a mix of all with teriyaki scallions and sesame seed as a topping. Will definitely be back. :)

I spotted Anton's truck and walked by it thinking I never saw it before, Russian Dumplings? after a half block, I made a U-Turn to check them out. They got Chicken, Siberian (pork & veal) and Potato with one of 4 toppings like sour cream & scallions, Gouda cheese melt, beet & horseradish. scallions, and dill, and it was just divine. The dumplings have just the right amount of chewiness to them and the fillings are delicately spiced. Potato dumplings with gouda, they were chewy, I think because the pre-cooked by boiling them and then fried when you order. and I like lots of filling and these were skimpy. My friend had the chicken classic with sour cream, scallions, and dill with a big pickle and didn't like the pickle at all. The taste was OK, can't say they are real Russian or not because it was my first time tasting them.

Pretty steep delivery fee, but dumplings arrive crosstown within 20 min from ordering. I would recommend the gouda ones, as they hold up better in transit.

I never had Russian dumplings before until this past weekend. I was not disappointed. The dumplings are small but filling. I had the Siberian (pork and veal) topped with chimichurri sauce. Definitely recommend hitting this truck up. I'll be sure to stop by again the next time I'm in the West Village.

I happened across this cart right off the subway station at W 3rd and, remember the rave reviews on Yelp, decided to try it. I got a small for $7 with a mix of chicken and siberian with the classic sauce (sour cream, dill, scallion). The dumplings were small, each one can be finished in one bite. Given the price, I was expecting a little more food considering this is a food cart and not a restaurant. These were nothing outstanding, the wrapping was soft and the filling was barely there. I could not taste the difference between the chicken and beef dumplings, and the seasoning was so-so.

TLDR: If you like stuffed Italian/Chinese noodles, you will love these. Privet! These Russian dumplings will make you want to hop on the Siberian Railroad, slog back some vodka, and swap stories of your babushka with your fellow comrades. All jokes aside, I found these dumplings to be quite fantastic. I ordered a large split order (half beef and half potato) classic style. The dumplings are soft in texture but upfront with their seasonings. Cool down the pepper and green onion with that dill and sour cream. Feeling more adventurous, try one of their other mixes. Think teriyaki and covered in cheese! The only thing missing was the vodka! do svidaniya!

What a nice surprise. I was in a hurry and wanted something quick. Just happened to be near the station by Antons. It was money well spent. Tasty and filling. I never had dumplings like these before, hopefully I can again someday.
