We love Georgian food so decided to try this spot while in the neighborhood yesterday and it was excellent, easily among the best Georgian restaurants I’ve tried in NYC. Nice and laid back, it’s byob but there’s a deli on the corner selling a good selection of cheap Eastern European beers on the corner. Their khatchapuri is amazing and I really liked the fact they whipped it up for you table side. So delicious. As a starter the dolma were also outstanding - nice sized grape leaves stuffed with meat. We also had the Georgian fried chicken with garlic sauce. This was a new dish for me but wow! The chicken was so tender and went so well with the garlic cream sauce! And their napoleon cake which they make in house was the perfect fonish. Just an awesome Georgian food experience that I’ll be returning for more of.
