just the best šŸ‘Œ best bagels, best service, best people. Show them some love! You will be glad that you did. And tell your friends and family!

The employees are trying hard but service is slow seemingly from the ordering system the new management tried to implement. Biggest complaint is the toasted bagels or rolls. They come out of the toaster looking exactly the same, maybe slightly warmer. Not sure what’s going on over there but it always seems like there’s confusion behind the counter. I asked for my bagel to be put through the toaster twice and it looked exactly the same.
The tomato sauce they try to add to every bacon egg and cheese sandwich makes no sense and the chicken salad is way better in Key Food across the street.
Overall, I’ve given this place so many opportunities and never left satisfied. Probably time to find a new bagel place.

This place is terrible. I’ve never been anywhere that the cream cheese costs more than the actual bagel. You can tell they have no idea what they’re doing. The mess up your order even when it’s written on a piece of paper, It’s a joke. I’ve gone in on several occasions for a simple bacon egg and cheese and they give me this weird tomato cumin garbage they call ā€œhouse sauceā€. Just give me a bacon egg and cheese. I have no idea how they managed to mess up my two plain bagels, when I got home there was a turkey club kind of sandwich and a tuna melt. I’m just sticking to the deli around the corner. This place will be closed before the summers over at this rate.

In case you missed it, Atlantic Bagels is under new ownership! Ina and her team have done an amazing job at reviving this neighborhood spot. It’s now a warm, inviting space with fantastic bagels (classics as well as interesting new flavors like raisin fennel) and service. The prices are also super reasonable compared to many of the other bagel shops nearby. If you haven’t been back in some time because the old spot wasn’t your thing, I recommend giving Atlantic Bagels 2.0 a shot!

This place has made a total turnaround since being a dingy & grumpy hole in the wall. Now when I come in I’m greeted and remembered. The new owners made a caraway seed bagel that’s SO flavorful. In general the ratio of toppings to bagel in general is perfect here. Oat matcha latte is surprisingly delicious for a bagel place.

This place is so good, how did I not know about it? Definitely a dark horse contender for the best bagels in NYC. How did no one tell me about their lard bread bagel??? The staff was very professional and friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there.

$10 for eggs and bacon on a bagel is outrageous no cheese even! court street bagel down the block is both quicker and charges less

Burnt Breakfast and Zero Accountability

I came in for a simple breakfast and left completely disappointed. What I got was burnt food — not slightly overcooked, but charred. The bagel was rock hard, the edges blackened, and honestly, it tasted like it had been left in the toaster and forgotten. Completely inedible.

When I brought it up, I got no apology and no offer to remake it — just a blank stare and attitude like I was being picky. If you can’t serve a basic breakfast without burning it, or at least take responsibility when it happens, what are we even paying for?

I won’t be wasting my time or money here again. If you care about quality or customer service, look elsewhere.

AVOID THIS PLACE — RIPOFF & Rude Management

I’ve been coming to this bagel shop for a while, but after today, NEVER again. I ordered my usual plain toasted bagel with butter — nothing fancy — and was shocked to be charged almost 40% more than usual. On top of that, they actually had the nerve to charge extra for butter then acted like this was always the price.

No signs, no warning, no heads-up — just a surprise at the counter. When I questioned the price hike, the manager was rude, dismissive, and couldn’t care less. Zero customer service. It’s clear they don’t respect their regulars or care about fairness.

This place has gone downhill fast. If you don’t want to be overcharged, disrespected, and treated like a nuisance, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that know how to treat customers right.

Total ripoff. Total joke. Never going back.

Ordered a bagel and cream cheese and just a schmear of scallion cream cheese was 3 bucks and I got a dry bagel! When I walked back, they didn't even offer to make a new one. You're a bagel place in NYC?! Come on!

So, I really hate to have to post stuff like this, but since the new ownership has come in this store has really struggled. The orders don't get done correctly, they don't get paid correctly, the staff are struggling to work with a disorganized system. We've been patient, we have gone back week after week, giving them a chance to get better. This week, one bagel sandwich was missing from my order, the egg in another sandwich was green, and the main register wasn't working so the staff had to pull out a portable one. I'm really sorry to say this, but we are done with this store and I encourage people to be wary of the food when you go in there.

I loved this place for years, and I’ve been a loyal, near daily customer. But I’ve just switched to Court street bagels begrudgingly. what happened? What kind of bagel shop doesn’t allow egg and cheese on a bagel? I see Atlantic Bagels responded to somebody below saying that they still do egg and cheese on a bagel. Guys, that’s categorically false. Why are you lying? This whole thing is very weird. All love to the Atlantic bagels crew though, im gonna miss this place.

I enjoyed a warm freshly baked classic plain bagel with butter and it was delicious. My partner and I also shared the kale salad (large portions!) and it was also super yummy. Will definitely visit again and try one of the signature sandwiches.

We’ve been coming here for a while, the people who work here are so kind and make great food. There have been a lot of new changes to management, which is fine, but they are making negative/weird changes, like you can’t get an egg and cheese on a bagel anymore, only a brioche (about 3 people came in and asked the same thing and were all equally confused, felt bad for the people working who had to keep explaining it). They are trying to make it feel like a corporation rather than a neighborhood bagel spot. Again, the people who work there are great, but it’s very obvious management is out of touch with what customers want.
