In case you missed it, Atlantic Bagels is under new ownership! Ina and her team have done an amazing job at reviving this neighborhood spot. It’s now a warm, inviting space with fantastic bagels (classics as well as interesting new flavors like raisin fennel) and service. The prices are also super reasonable compared to many of the other bagel shops nearby. If you haven’t been back in some time because the old spot wasn’t your thing, I recommend giving Atlantic Bagels 2.0...
This place has made a total turnaround since being a dingy & grumpy hole in the wall. Now when I come in I’m greeted and remembered. The new owners made a caraway seed bagel that’s SO flavorful. In general the ratio of toppings to bagel in general is perfect here. Oat matcha latte is surprisingly delicious for a bagel place.
This place is so good, how did I not know about it? Definitely a dark horse contender for the best bagels in NYC. How did no one tell me about their lard bread bagel??? The staff was very professional and friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there.
