They were slammed when I got there but the lone young lady at the counter was very warm, helpful and kind. I went with her recommendation of the “Lobster Roll” and it was outstanding!!! I also had a “half and half” of sorrel and cucumber ginger juice. That was every bit as delicious as it was refreshing. A very vibrant space in terms of decor and energetically. Will certainly will prioritize making it a stop when I’m in BK. LOVED.

We had an amazing experience here! We were visiting from Chicago and found AU through a google search for Brooklyn vegan restaurants. The owner was very kind, accommodating, and made great suggestions. We had the smash burger, jerk jackfruit, Mac and cheese, and corn cake- all 11/10! The place is definitely a vibe, very upbeat and you can tell this establishment is a pillar of their community. We can’t wait to visit again!! Thank you!!

Aunts et Uncles is a rare gem — great food that is reported to be completely vegan. Each time I have gone the food has been fantastic. Everything feels balanced as a meal, cooked and prepared well, and flavorful with good texture. Nothing has ever felt raw or bland.
Also, the atmosphere is quite nice. A great relaxing spot for a nice dinner. It is a smaller, intimate space but a few different seating options.
Additionally, the servers have always been friendly...
