The food here was ok, and service was not the best. Server wasn't helpful and never came to check if we were doing ok or if the food was good. It was my first time and will be my last time.

Food is outstanding. Started with a glass of “Super Tuscan” blend of Syrah, Sangiovese and some other red wine. Outstanding. Split a Tuscan Kale salad with husband which was also excellent. He had the duck breast which he loved, but portion was small. Shishito peppers on the side. Loved them. Had pappardelle with ox tail we both loved it. For dessert, the olive oil cake with gelato and husband had flourless chocolate cake - both wonderful. The only issue was the restaurant is not too big and was pretty loud. There is an outdoor space that would probably be quieter. But you can't beat the food.

Eight of us came here for brunch on a Sunday and really enjoyed the place. We had a reservation, but with a smaller group you may be able to go without calling in ahead of time. They have a covered outdoors area, which will be beautiful in the summer. Overall solid brunch spot

Too noisy with 83 décibel in average!! Small Space. Meals are ok but not very original and toi expensive for standard pasta.

Excellent food and service - a bit pricey. $20 for a small serving of fava beans and an asparagus spear or two was a bit much (although delicious). Very comfortable setting and servicce

Mediocre food. Service felt like they just wanted us out. They close between services for an hour, strange thing to do. I like the vibe tho.Definitely not coming back.

Aurora in Brooklyn is a culinary gem! The ambiance is charming, and the Straccetti with wheat germ and Mortadella sauce is a revelation. Each bite is a burst of flavor, perfectly balanced and expertly crafted. The service is impeccable, making every visit memorable. Highly recommend!

When a restaurant is crowded and you order interesting food, it is always a measure of the place on how quickly it comes out. Too quickly means it's been pre-prepared and left there under heaters waiting to be served up - already a little ‘turned' HOWEVER . A little bit of time means it has been prepared just for you. And that's the beauty of this restaurant. Everything is absolutely beautifully prepared. And just for you .....go there, you won't be disappointed
