I like the matcha it's not sugary and it's genuine. Order ahead doesn't work though, I can't choose ASAP on the app and the order didn't go to the store. I wanted to pick it up on my way out.

Cool spot.. but Need to whisk Matcha better. A mouthful of powder isn’t fun especially for the cost.

This cafe is beautiful and the service was good. However if you’re looking for matcha this place may not be the one to serve it. I got one with oatmilk and flavored syrup. Taste was sort of watery and color of the matcha was very light. Hopefully it improves

The shop is really nice for the environment but the coffee isn’t that amazing. I have had better coffee in the surrounding shops. I wanted it to be a better taste but it didn’t stand out.

I've been coming here once a month or so for coming on 8 years, and it's always nice. While the coffee is pretty okay, the team that works here - the people they hire - are always wonderful and personable. So, I always look forward to coming back.

The barista was so sweet. Coffee was amazing. Chocolate croissant was great.

I love the friendly service. The barista was simply wonderful. She seemed like my friend, although we just met. Looking back, she simply has great interpersonal skills. Starting with a compliment and continuing with a chat to make the customer feel comfy is an awesome wait to get me to return.

I love the books and atmosphere. Work, chat, or hang out. Whatever you do, you'll be glad you came.

All around lovely, environment is super inviting and the customer service is wonderful. Coffee was also pretty good. Definitely going back.

Lilyanne…where should I begin? Kindness? An understatement. Consideration? Goes without saying. A godsend? We know that grass is green.

In summary, Lily is an essential to this place. We understand that every breath is a blessing in this life, and knowing that, every time I engage with her energy in, I am met with the same blessing.

I don’t know anyone of the other customers within the shop this day, but I believe we all share this great sentiment in Lily, with no doubts in our hearts about her devotion, care, and love towards her regulars and new faces alike.

Ava Brew is hands down my go-to coffee spot—and easily one of the best gems in all of Brooklyn. The energy at AVA is unmatched! The vibe is electric, thanks to the incredible staff who are not only hilarious and super friendly, but also have a memory like no other—show up enough and they’ll greet you with your order already in mind.

The espresso? Smooth, rich, and consistently delicious. I’ve even grabbed their beans to take on beach trips during the summer—AVA on the sand just hits different.

Honestly, I don’t get how anyone could knock this place. It’s always buzzing with people, and yet the line moves like magic. Ava Brew just gets it right—every time.

I’ll give this place two ⭐️ ⭐️ coffee is OK nothing special. I love everybody here that says it’s a hidden gem you must not know about good Coffee if you call us ahead and gem is thousands of places in Brooklyn in Manhattan with better coffee I ordered a croissant it was so like it was frozen for 10 weeks was terrible. Nothing special about this coffee to me and I come from Costa Rica where we have great coffee so I know what good coffee is.
