Ayat Reviews
tasteless and gross, much like the owners
Bland food that tastes as if it’s been sitting in the fridge for weeks, and the wait staff operate like they don’t understand the basics of service.
Not sure how this place is still in biz other than maybe the other patrons, who frankly look more like illegal jihadists than New Yorkers.
They support Palestine, which means that there can't be a decent person to eat there.

Ayat is a casual and small Middle Eastern restaurant known for its nice selection of classic dishes. Customers can enjoy menu items like Kefta skewers, hummus, baba ghanoush, Mansaf (lamb), chicken shawarma, kobbeh, grape leaves, and falafel in a bohemian cafe setting. The chicken shawarma plate is reported to be delicious, and the fresh bread served steaming is perfect with the dips. The wood-fired oven gives the chicken and flatbread a nice finish of flavor, and the portions are abundant and plentiful. Although the restaurant uses disposable plates and cutlery, the food is praised to be really good. Ayat is always busy, with customers highlighting the amazing hospitality and kindness of the friendly and helpful staff, who create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Many diners appreciate the warm smiles and genuine care they receive upon entering the restaurant, making it feel like a trip to the Middle East. The ambiance is stunning, and the drinks, including the hibiscus margarita and lemonade, are refreshing. Ayat is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Palestinian cuisine.
