Nice and chill spot for a quick dinner. Food is amazing and you get big portions. I would definitely go back next time I’m here!!

You get what you pay for.
The salad was inedible due to a strange, overly sour dressing.
The lentil soup was watery, but I was hungry and ended up eating it anyway.
The dishes were clay and badly chipped — you could easily cut your lips. I actually had to look for a safe edge to drink from.
The dining area was cold and not cozy at all.
The restroom door was so dirty that it was better to open it with your foot.
Maybe it’s acceptable for the price, but I would never come back
Everything was so delicious. Staff super nice. Portions were great 🙏🏻

Truly the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! Visiting from out of state and we got the mint tea and hot appetizer sampler - delicious! I’ll return for sure.

Tasty Food BUT WAY OVERPRICED. Over 20 a plate of food with barely any Protein. Very Cheap with the salad portion . We Ordered, the Mix Shawarma Platter, Chicken Shawarma Platter and Chicken Kebab Platter. I was over 65 dollars and we were still hungry.
I’ve had plenty of middle eastern food in NYC but never with such small portions at such high prices . It was stuffed with rice very tasty so if you’re a carb eater go for it .

Ayat is a GEM. Food is top notch and portions are super generous. Their hummus and Muhammarah is divine. My guilty pleasure is the Pizzawarma which is definitely a shareable item. They are BYOB so go to Sahaadis wine shop inside IC and grab a Palestinian wine for a perfect pairing.

I got Mix Shaw SANDW to go, and some of the chicken was completely raw. I did not get food poisoning though. (so 1 stars, not 0 lol) I was eating at home, was not paying attention to my food. Noticed something that had texture like eggplant, so took a look. It was raw chicken. I disposed of the rest of the food and ate like 6 vitamin Cs and 2 tablets of activated charcoal and 2 shots of apple cider vinegar. And I did not get salmonella.

A lovely restaurant with great staff and delicious food. I came here with my family and we were so well taken care of. Thank you Ayat for bringing beautiful Palestinian cuisine to Brooklyn!

We had a group meeting in the room upstairs tonight and the staff was very easygoing and accommodating. The food was also delicious and very generous portions. We’ll definitely be back next month.
