Came here on a Sunday afternoon by myself and got seated at the bar immediately. I was served by Senua (sp?) who was very kind and warm. I enjoyed the overall ambiance and sitting in view of the kitchen. Their branded bowls and mugs were a fun touch.
I ordered the hummus, the kefta plate, and the sahlab. In general the food was good, but I was expecting more flavor. I plan to come back and try some of their more unique dishes.
The pita was more dense than light and airy. The hummus was generously topped with olive oil which brought most of the flavor. There was also sumac on top, but I wasn’t tasting that much. The texture was very smooth though.
The kefta was tender, and I appreciated the side salad with it. They were generous with the greens and rice. Similar to the hummus, I had hoped for more flavor with the kefta.
My favorite thing was the sahlab, which I had never tried before. It was warm, sweet, and very floral. It was also topped with cinnamon, which was a nice companion to the floral flavors.

Every dish has been absolutely delicious. Servers are super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is nice - nothing that I would rave about, but it's nice - open, clean, bright with the tall windows... In the summer they open up the side facing the park, so that's really nice.

Used to love this place (was eating here weekly at one point). Unfortunately I got food poisoning from my last araby mix shawarma meal 🥲 Seems like the food quality is not what it was compared to last years experiences at the restaurant but hopefully changes can be made.

I wanted to love this place but the experience fell far short of what I expected. I was seated at the bar and told the server that I wanted to put in my order straight away because I was hungry and my time was limited. I ordered a baba ganoush and the beef shawarma. I saw all of the dishes coming out and they looked great so I thought that I was in for a real treat. The dish came out suspiciously fast and it when it landed on my table it didn't look quite right. The meat was overdone and rubbery, the rice was cold and the salad looked old. I was hungry so I ate around some of the overcooked pieces of meat, and at one point, I had to spit it out because it was totally inedible. I alerted the server when she came by and she offered to provide a small discount which I thought was nice. I signed the check and gave a 15 percent tip (I usually give around 22 percent but I thought that the tip was reflective of my experience) and I left the restaurant. I checked my account today and the restaurant tacked on an additional amount for tip that I didn't agree to. Again I had high hopes but never ever again.

I ordered through DoorDash , makloba was alright and the pitas I ordered wasn’t there . I never got it . I hope next time I hope to have a better experience .

We ordered the lentil soup, beef cigar rolls and beef/chicken shawarma to start. The lentil soup looked great but tasted like water, no seasoning whatsoever. Beef cigars were ice cold. We asked to leave before the shawarma arrived given the already bad experience. Might give this spot another try in a month or two, hoping it was just a bad night in the kitchen and they have more to offer.
