Don't buy the guacamole if you like traditional guacamole. It looks normal until you take some on a chip and get a mouth full of chopped onion every bite . This guacamole was watery there was barely any avocado visible at all it has way too many onions and tomatoes and cilantro that's all it is, it's 5.50 for something that's basically pico de gallo that has a very Slight avocado taste . I called back and was told that it was supposed to be like that and that they make it with pico de gallo and that there's nothing they can do about it because I didn't call right right when I ordered yesterday. I ordered food a little before there closing time and they were closed by the time I even opened My guacamole but they said they can't do anything when I call the next day when I wake up . Terrible customer service for overpriced food. I would have given 2 stars but my burrito wasn't even that good and my chicken quesadilla wasn't even cut was small and just tasted like a big taco it was weird. This place definitely does things there own way.

Food is good, prices are great. They accept cash and card. I don't remember it being called Azul tequila and the Pic on Google maps is old. I will go back, my daughter loved the mini quisadilla. Oh they do have a great kids menu with actual kid portions. I wish they served liquor like margaritas or sangria. That's really all that's missing. They do serve beer.

Terrible customer service = terrible restaurant. Once time a gentleman took my order of a large horchata and handed over a nice sized cup that was full. A lady comes out of the kitchen and pours some of the drink back into the pitcher, right in front of me. Then added an extra .50 to the $5 price the gentleman told me when I reluctantly handed over the $5 bill. After she asked for more money, I said "ah" and took the $5 bill from her and walked out that joint. Without the horchata, of course. DONT GO HERE!!! So many other BETTER places nearby

They went from the best restaurant in the area into the worst! They serve small portions now like every other restaurant and still want to charge for what they serve before. When I order delivery takes long when I go eat there the same and the food it's not even enjoyable needs a better chef add flavor to the food not just throw this and this and call it what it says on the menu they even make it so spicy. They had a good thing going on but they changed last month it's not the same they try to be fancy but its not the same anymore sorry not ordering or eating here again i rather go to queens

This was my second visit to this place. I like the decorations. The place is clean. The staff is professional and friendly. I had a good time with the family. We ordered burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and cheeseburgers.

Ordered the Salted beef Nachos. No Bueno! It was mostly all meat which would usually be great but there were very few greasy chips & not much cheese or cream which defeats the whole purpose of "nachos" My main complaint is how spicy it was. Firstly the menu does not say spicy. There was a huge pepper sliced on top with the seeds spread all over the nachos. I don't mind spicy food at all but this was just so spicy it was inedible & I wasn't in the mood for that. I was also really disgusted by this piece of "meat tubes" well tendons or whatever exposed right on top of the nachos. I'm just really disgusted by everything. Had to trash the whole thing. NASTY! Plus the restaurant refused to give me a refund. Thank goodness for grubhub giving me a credit back :/

I've tried their huevos rancheros and bistek flautas and they're good. What really hooked me was their hurvos rancheros and rice and beans! One of the best I've had in this area.

So I just got takeout from this place. The burrito was good. It was made pretty quickly. I ordered a side of avacado and was charged a $1.50 for literally 2 small slices!!! I also ordered a side of rice and beans didn't receive it. This place was literally empty!! How was my order wrong :( the food is good though! I'll def go back just going to double check my order before I leave!

I adore their shrimp tacos! Always fresh, perfectly cooked, delivered hot. Delivery is always fast, even late nights. Three is definitely very filling. The tacos are so good I have yet to try anything else, but if they're anything to judge by the rest of the menu will be excellent.

I'll preface this review by saying that I've never actually been inside Azul Tequila. I've only ordered from Seamless ... many, many times. I must say, the quality is consistently on point and the service is unbelievably fast. I lived in Mexico City for many years before moving to NYC and it has always been a struggle to find authentic-ish cuisine in the US. That being said, Bushwick is a mecca for Mexican food, and Azul Tequila has to be one it's best, if not most convenient establishments. My favorite: the torta de milanesa de res with a tostada de pastor to go along. Bomb Mexa snack for a very reasonable price.

Okay, maybe this is just a take out or delivery place. We did a sit down and it was extremely bad. Chips were okay. That's the PROs. Now the CONs: We started with an appetizer of Guacamole, which was good, but served in a bowl that was dirty both outside and in. (you guys who get it delivered don't have to worry about that) Mi amor ordered a Chicken Mole dish, and the mole tasted like they melted a Hersheys bar. She decided to just ask them to pack it to go (in case we get drunk later and want chocolate glazed chicken for dessert) She was still hungry so we ordered a shrimp fajita (figured that should be a safe bet), well, it wasn't the sizzling browned chicken you and I are accustomed to, instead it was chicken stew in an onion and tomato sauce. I myself decided to try their Molcajete (an oven hot stone bowl with shrimp, chicken, pork and beef) The only thing halfway cooked right was the shrimp (without seasoning) Everything else was overcooked, the cecina was like jerky. Besides that, they filled the molcajete 1/3 with salsa rojo. I like spice, so I could handle it, but it wasn't optional, everything was already sitting in hot sauce when served. Service was okay, probably because we were the only people there. The jukebox didn't work properly, I wanted to play some Jose Alfredo Jimenez that I was happy they had in there, but the keypad didn't work right so I got 4 random Ranchero songs instead. So the final summary: If you see this place, keep walking past. I'm guessing they survive on their tacos and other take out orders, which I guess they make good to still be in business, but I can make taco at home, so if you can't make a good plato, don't have it on your menu.
