Amazing food and hidden gem near Brooklyn's Chinatown. You just try their egg and shrimp with the chili sauce. (I'm not sure what the real name of this dish is.) Most of the foods are out on display so that you can just grab them and pay. The seating area is pretty cramped.
I got chicken sandwich as takeout. It’s okay but the flavor isn’t as good as other banh mi stores. There’s this weird taste that I can’t really name out, but otherwise it’s okay to eat. There’s no spicy sauce but jalapeño, so to cover the taste of the meat, I used really spicy sauce.
Service was fast and there wasn’t a lot of people when I went so there was a lot of space. I order the grilled pork banh mi for 8 dollars which is very reasonable considering the size and flavors. The bread (assuming baguette) is nice and crispy exterior with a chewy interior. But it starts to cut the side of your mouth and makes it dry.
