Tried the fish basket and I was surprised by how tasty it was. The fish was fried very well with the right amount of crispness and moist fish. The rice was flavorful too.

Was visiting NYC from California this weekend and got pretty hungry. We ended up in Brooklyn and wanted something good to eat. We ended up in the Dekalb Market Hall with tons of food options to chose from. My wife wanted Baby's Buns and Buckets. I was on the fence if I wanted to eat there but people around were raving about the food and it convinced me. I'm glad it did because it was the best sweet and savory pork I've ever had! We ordered the Grilled Honey Pork bun and it was soooo delicious!! The pork was so tender and sweet and the garlic mayo just elevated the pork to another level. The staff was so nice making sure everything was right for us! The customer service, just like the food, was on another level. If you're ever in the area, head to Baby's Buns and Buckets!

When I tell you I’ve eaten here three days in a row because of how delicious the food is. I’ve switched from the pro buns to the pork bucket and it taste stellar every time no matter who is cooking it. I ordered the classic bucket, the fried chicken was freshly fried and it was crispy and moist. It got good flavored. I also had their fried mushroom sandwich & the fried fish sandwich before. They both are good, I love how the mushroom was fried and the taste of it. You can't go wrong with what you order there. Everything is fresh and taste good. I am a big fan of the place. Great food and it's.

All I can say is wow! What a flavorful, filling meal I got here at baby's buns & buckets. I found myself wandering dekalb market looking for the best option for a quick dinner (there are soo many good choices!!) & after checking the reviews for this place I gave it a try. And boy am I happy I did! I started with the fried shroom bun which was the perfect size for an appetizer. The mushroom was perfectly crispy and it packed a great flavor. My only criticism is that the sauce was suuuper salty which sort of overpowered the taste of the mushroom. I then got the fish bucket which is really big and could probably feed two but i ate it all myself lol I was happy to be able to change the "fatty garlic rice" which is cooked in chicken broth to regular white rice at no extra cost. The fish was fried crispy and moist. The sides all complimented each other really well & the SAUCE was a game changer!! So so good!! Everything took about 15 min to be ready on a busy Friday evening & the staff working were all super nice. Will definitely be back!!
