Delicious and authentic French food in a charming space. My colleagues and I enjoyed a business dinner here, but it would also be terrific for a romantic meal.
Food was fantastic! However, took some time to get to our table. Everyone seemed to be very busy, just was not enough staff to handle the demand. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. We discussed that the outdoor space would probably be amazing in the summer time.
food was amazing. we went with the 3 course prixe fixe menu. every dish that came out was delicious, down the the complementary bread having the right crunch. the staff was great, you can tell they have a strong team as they all help one another out. it's a nice cozy intimate place for a date night or a catch up with friends over a glass of wine.
Our 3 course pre fixe Christmas dinner was very delicious. The holiday atmosphere was just right, and the service was efficient, but nit rushed.
The food was delicious. The service attentive. We had a quiet table and were able to have conversations. All in all an excellent choice for a holiday meal. Our party of five all had an excellent time.
Lovely dinner experience Went for Christmas Eve and food was delicious Service was great and overall a very enjoyable experience
We had 2 servers, they did not to talk to each and seemed disorganized, didn't really listen to our needs. I asked for a wine selection the server didn't explain what he was recommending and then when brought to the table didn't explain the suggestion. We asked for NO mushrooms and they still brought them. When we ordered the bread, we asked for more butter and they were “offended“ and to a bit to bring to us. The food was good and so was the price.
I have been a customer of Bacchus since it opened roughly 20 years ago. The restaurant has never been better!
Bacchus is one of our favorite Brooklyn restaurants. We always order the same thing - bread with butter plus the salmon entrees. I'm a big salmon eater and they make my favorite salmon. Plus it is a good value for the money compared to other NYC restaurants.
Wonderful experience, great food and service after an evening at BAM right before Christmas. Will be back.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner and everything was exceptional, the food, the service and ambience. Loved it. Highly recommend!
My husband and I had our wedding here (destination wedding from San Francisco- I grew up in NY and our guests were scattered all over) and it was fantastic. So easy to plan, no need to hire a planner beyond Meryl. We’ve also gone for dinner before and after the wedding, most recently tonight, and it’s one of those restaurants I would love to have in my local neighborhood in SF. Terrific food and wine list, lovely staff, cozy atmosphere, what more could you ask for!

Phenomenal experience. The pork chop special was delicious, as was the grilled octopus. The wine was excellent.
Had a lovely brunch with my visiting parents at Bacchus. Service was friendly and warm and the ambience of the space was great - not too loud on a Saturday at 1pm. We had the omelet, salad bowl, and croque madame; all three were tasty! Overall a fab place to bring the parents.
