I would give 10 stars for the service if it were possible, they have genuine love in how they interact with customers.

Food is authentic and yummy.

Small, intimate Italian restaurant with good food and decent prices for Italian food in Williamsburg. We got the caramelized onion pizza and eggplant pasta with burrata. Both were delicious and more filling than they looked!

TLDR: I've never eaten the food, but it's not for lack of trying...

Here's the scoop. My wife and I wanted amatriciana (her favorite) for Valentine's Day. We found it at several places in the neighborhood, but everywhere we tried to book warned of a prefix menu for the holiday. Everywhere except Baci & Abbracci. So, we had hope that their full menu would be available so we could delite in her favorite pasta (I also think it's very good). We made a reservation a week in advance. Upon our arrival, which was on time, we learned that they too have a fixed holiday menu... No amatriciana to be found. We glanced over the menu... it was doable, so we decided to be flexible. So we chatted it up. After some time we slowly felt like we were in an episode of the twilight zone. Not a single table in the restaurant had food, and only one or two had drinks. The vibe wasn't just off, it was missing... and on the sexiest holiday of the year, it was just strange and forced. So we waited, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30, 40... No service (we were seated at a table next to others which were receiving service visible to everyone in the small dining room, so not like they forgot about us) still no service. We literally only received water for 40 minutes. No greeting, no orders placed, nada... I won't lie, I get hangry, maybe even hypoglycemic. So, we decided to order pickup burgers from down the street and head home, less I rage at someone trying to make ends meet. We packed it up (dressed to the nines) and headed home where I'm now writing this review. And... I was going to give it one star. But it dawned on me... The restaurant was having a bad night... But that doesn't mean that I too have to have a bad night. So instead, 2 stars. Baci, if you read this I'll revise the review if you meet several conditions:

1. Amatriciana on Valentine's Day in 2026
2. Some other sort of preferential treatment cus we were super bummed...

Baci & Abbracci is a Brooklyn neighborhood gem that we’ve treasured for 14+ years! I’ve had everything on the menu, but my favorites are the ravioli and calamari along with Mimmo’s famous strawberry mojitos! We’ve celebrated countless milestones at Baci from baby showers to birthdays. Thanks to Mimmo & Paolo along with their exceptional team who make us feel like family every time we visit!

Absolutely amazing food. It's hard not to order the paccheri every time because it's so good. We've taken friends time and time again and everyone loves it. Thank you Mimmo for always being so warm and for all of the wonderful dinners!

Rude Italian server spent more time chatting with his coworker than refilling water (they give you a tiny 4oz glass, dont come back until you call them from across the room, and then refuse to provide a pitcher for the table of 6). After the appetizer I was waiting for my entree only to realize the server left it unattended between two other people on the other end of the table. No one even noticed it was there getting cold. Very rude service.

I was very happy with the carbonara. And the tiramisu dessert at the end was just lovely. Good portion enough to share dessert for 2

We came across this place craving some pasta but we received much more than expected. The food was really good, good portions, good prices. But the best part was the fantastic attention we received by our waiter. A very professional, warm and attentive man whose name we don’t know, sadly. We were talking to him in Spanish because he’s from Ecuador, that’s all we know. We just wanted to say thank you to him for the way he made our evening feel just like home. Whatever his salary is I’m convinced he deserves more. The place was quite busy and he managed perfectly to take such a good care of us and our needs in such a delightful and polite way.
