The beef pies at Back Home Bakery are pure comfort in every bite. The crust is golden, flaky, and perfectly buttery, while the filling is generously packed with well-seasoned, savory beef that’s bursting with flavor. Each bite delivers that perfect balance of tender meat and a hint of spice, wrapped in a pastry that melts in your mouth.
Whether you enjoy them fresh out of the oven or warmed up later, these beef pies hit the spot every time. They’re the kind of treat that makes you feel like you’re back home, no matter where you are.

This restaurant is too much bad
Long time wait delivery food
I have no words to express my disappointment. Went in for coconut turnovers and this is what I got. Smh
I’m kind of disappointed about my food that I order I went there two day in a row the first day I bought 2 oxtail patties and 2 salmon patties I was so excited to experience the patties but when I got down to the middle of my oxtail patty there was a piece of silver Brillo the you used to clean dishes in it I did enjoy the flavor and the freshness of the patties but it turned me off and I had to give the rest away the second day I returned I didn’t tell anyone about it because I was waiting almost 20 minute to place my order when I finally got a chance to order it slipped my mind until I got in my car and started to eat the chicken patty with coco bread which reminded me that I waste my time and money because the patty was dried out and hard I guess it was from the day before I want to go back to try the food again because I know the food is good but it’s just that I don’t want to waste my time and money on food that I can’t enjoy

Yea… not the same bakery years ago. The patties are horrendous. Dry and tough. The bread used to be great but I’m not sure now. The callalo was way better that my husband had.

The cheese roll was great, but the jerk chicken patty was tough and dry. Still a nice place with friendly staff and a lot of options.

Stopped in, super hungry from running errands and got the callaloo patty. First impression of the store: nice, clean layout and bright atmosphere. But the front staff seemed surprised to see a customer (?). The reception was a bit cold, confused. As for the patty: I didn’t care for it. I found the crust unnecessarily greasy and the filling was ok, just not seasoned very well. I know that’s a matter of preference, but I couldn’t finish it.

It was close to 8pm on a Friday evening, and the bakery I was brightly lit. I was greeted when I entered the bakery. The staff was very friendly and made sure to let me know what options were available. I ordered bake and saltfish (herring and shark were also available), oxtail patty, jerk chicken patty, cassava pone, pine tarts, Chinese cake, cheese rolls, and a currents roll. My mom enjoyed her bake and saltfish. She said the bake and saltfish was a whole meal. This bakery has a nice selection of bread, pastries, cakes, and savory options. My father introduced me to this bakery so, I pass by when I can. I hope to try their donuts next time.

The service is the worst. The women in the front serving needs lessons on how to greet the customers and not just their so called friends. They run the business like they are only dealing with the few people back home who patronize the shop. They need to be more culturally aware. They need to learn how to greet and welcome customers. I entered the store said hello and the woman did not answer me. Then after waiting to be served, two other people came in after me. The lady behind the counter took the woman behind me order. So I just walked out. If I could give a -1/5 that’s what they deserve for their lousy service.
