If you want fresh bagels, this is the place. It's one of the best bagel places you could go in Bay Ridge, very friendly and always improving. Fresh and the coffee is good.

I don't live in Brooklyn but when I do I always go to bagel boys for everything bagel. Today I I'm extremely disappointed. Is there a cream cheese shortage? Everywhere I go they are cheap with cream cheese . Are specifically asked to not be cheap!!! 🤦♀️ But I can't give a bad rating because the angels are amazing.

The sesame bagel with egg cheese tomato is my jam. The bagels are soft and you can get it quickly. Im sure all the spreads are lovely too. This place is an institution in Brooklyn.

The food is decent (need to stop adding so much cream cheese to the bagels). However, the staff is very rude and they need an attitude adjustment and need to learn how to properly speak with customers with respect.
Also, I’ve asked loud and clear for iced coffee, however, the worker in the front with glasses is too busy speaking and joking with her other coworkers instead of focusing on the customers and what they’re asking for

It was our first time at Bagel Boy and was very happy.
There was a long line to order, but it went quickly. The everything bagels were delicious and they have a great variety of cream cheese.
I will be back.

Some of the staff members are nice, and the food can be great, but just about everything else about this place is absolutely atrocious. Unclear ordering rules and line system, takeout and delivery have never gotten an order right and I always got hassled for asking for a correction.
The worst offense, though, was the last time I went here. I ordered what should have been a simple request — everything bagel with sun-dried tomato *cream cheese*. The monstrosity I got instead, though, was an everything bagel packed with plain sun-dried tomatoes and NO cream cheese. Why?? In what world did it seem like a bagel packed only with sun-dried tomatoes, an extremely acidic food, and no cream cheese, was something edible and ready to serve? I genuinely felt so mistreated, to receive this bagel, when I said "sun-dried tomato cream cheese", in response to "What kind of cream cheese do you want?" So rude. It made the bagel itself impossible to enjoy, even after taking all the tomatoes off, and I really needed this food before a long day.
One of the worst things I’ve ever tasted in my life. Be very careful about going here, highly recommend literally anywhere else for breakfast.

Came by this spot because it was recommend by many locals and as a Floridian who loves bagels I had to have a New York bagel. I had an everything bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese it was delishhhhhhh!!! Very quick service and smiles all around!!
