Very bad experience and cranky worker, she was so bad with communication even though i was so nice with her and i was very respectful to her, and they are scammers i swear a god i just bought 6 bagels and she charged me 16 dollars for very small bagels, 16 dollars for 6. Scammers.

I know this is meant to be a classic bagel but it wasn't quite my thing. Just very stripped back. I went just before closing so perhaps the bagel was just no longer the freshest at that point so I might need to give it another try. The atmosphere is very nice though and took me back to something very homey.

Bagels generally good and authentic. Service usually slow for no real reason. Can get steamy. Skip anything complicated, it'll take forever. Just get the bagels here and buy the spread elsewhere.
Sometimes the staff have a less than great attitude.

Decent bagel with cream cheese. Found what I think is a bug at the bottom of my ice coffee………🤢

Bagels are small with a giant hole and very hard. Highly disappointing for a NY bagel. It’s like a Florida bagel or something. Waste of money

This place was recommended to us by more than one person. Why??? We got a dozen bagels to bring to an event. Got them at 8:45 in the morning but somehow they were stale and hard as rocks. Almost inedible. Hopefully we can salvage them by toasting them. Not ever going back.

Ordered a dozen bagels for a group breakfast. First one I pull out looks like this. Their cream cheese options are also horrible. Walked out with Philadelphia and Tofutti cream cheese in tubs that you can buy in any grocery store. Never again.

The bagels are really good. I grew up out of NY. We had bagels we thought were good. Then I came to NY and realized what bagels were supposed to taste like. Bagel Hole bagels are top notch. Of the best kosher bagels in NY. The sandwiches are good, service is slow and that could be due to demand and they need to focus on consistently cleaning the restaurant. They improve their speed and clean consistently, I change my rating to a 5.

This place is gross on so many levels (dirty store, stale bagels, sad customer service) that I’m baffled as to how they’ve gotten any positive reviews on here.

You’ll know the moment you step inside what you’re in for. There’s literally paint peeling off rusty pipes, stained ceiling tiles, and broken old fridges that look like they haven’t been serviced since 1960.

Then the food. For a place that doesn’t toast their bagels, you’d think they’d be fresh—but nope. Stale, flavorless, and if you get a sandwich with egg, they literally cook it in a microwave. I’ve honestly never seen that before in NYC.

To top it all off, the workers seem depressed and are very curt.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Truly a sad experience.

Soft and fresh bagels! Cinnamon raisin is my go to! I also really love the deal they have with a bagel and coffee. Super cool place
