Total fail!! Wrong fish on one bagel. Gave me whitefish salad (not my request). Also, it smelled rotten. Toasted my wife's bagel to a burnt inedible crisp. They weren't busy. There was one other customer in the store. Worst bagel place I've been to in NYC (or Montreal or Toronto or DC or Baltimore). The bagels might be good, but we'll never know..

Bagel heaven in the heart of NYC! Bagel World on 5th Ave absolutely lives up to the hype. The bagels are fresh, fluffy, and perfectly chewy with that authentic New York taste. They have a great variety of flavors and spreads — the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was chef’s kiss.
I also got the Healthy House juice and wow — it was sooo fresh and delicious! You can really taste the quality ingredients, and it was the perfect refreshing balance to the hearty bagel.
The staff was friendly and fast, even during the busy morning rush. The place was clean, cozy, and smelled amazing (like fresh-baked carbs and happiness). Whether you're a tourist or a local, this is a must-stop for a quality New York bagel experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Only place I'll go for bagels in Park Slope! The menu is extensive, high quality ingredients, freshly made in house salads, cream cheeses, and meats. Everything is fresh and delicious! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the place is super clean, with outside tables to enjoy your goodies. Don't go somewhere else and be disappointed! Bagel World is great!

My bagel was barely toasted and there was the tiniest amount of butter on it. The bagel being undertoasted didn’t even taste that fresh….like it was a day old or aomething. Just horrible. It’s butter. The bagel shouldn’t be dripping with it at least spread it over the entire cut surface! Atmosphere felt tense. The person who made my bagel was outside the counter hanging out or something and didn’t go back to the counter area til I was standing there for a while…maybe I came after a rush and they were burnt out…. Either way I will never go back

As a tourist this is a bagel shop I found on my first day…it was so good and the staff so friendly it became my breakfast all week! The menu can be overwhelming but as Scott told me “it’s just ideas, see things you like and we will make you anything”! On top of awesome food they are super dog friendly and have a dog walk-up window for treats. If in Park Slope, try Bagel World!
Bagels are simply divine. Will always make the walk past inferior bagel shops who don’t treat me right because these guys are the real deal. Incredible selection too.

Bagels are decent size, fairly good (although not the best in the neighborhood).
Bigger problem is that they completely ignore requests/instructions, even when they are printed on the receipt that they provide.
Three bagels, all were requested to be toasted. None of them were.
Other requests were made to leave certain items off, but none of them were, they were all included - so if you have allergies, this is real problem.
Another item was completely missing.
Four items in the order, one was missing, and the other three were all wrong - even though the receipt provided by Bagel World correctly showed all the items that were ordered.
I don't know what they're doing over there, but they aren't paying any attention to the actual orders.
