The WORSE bagel in the city !
First of all, I wanted for my bagel 15!!!!! Min
No kidding
There were 3 people but only 1 making bagels
Others did nothing
I ordered bagel, egg and cheese with spinach

In every bagel store you get bagel egg and cheese with 2-4 eggs !!!
They made it with 1!!!!! Egg ! Only !!
This is a JOKE !!!!!!!!!
Also the egg came COLD
Tell I am mad
say nothing !!!!

Went in to grab a bagel with cream cheese, simple enough. I'm the only customer, waited 10 minutes without getting the bagel. Walked out of the place. What a sad establishment for a bagel shop.

Got a bagel (delicious btw) and they accidentally gave regular cc instead of tofu. The manager went back and found the ticket to check for me and when he realized that it was a mistake he re made my bagel and sent someone to bring it all the way to my hotel for me!!!!! Beyond generous and kind. We always go here when we come to Brooklyn and now we always will. My husband also got 2dozen bagels to take home to Maine because he loves them so much.

Bagels are $1.75, cream cheese topping on bagel will be an additional $5.00, making a simple toasted bagel with cream cheese over $6. Not clear when ordering. Insane charge on a topping.

They offer several varieties of bagels here that are hard to find, including a whole wheat sesame and pumpernickel everything and pumpernickel garlic. Apparently they used to carry stockeld cream cheese, but when I came they only had tofutti and they said they didn’t know when they will have more stockeld, so I suspect they discontinued it. If I’m wrong, please let me know! Anyway, I ate the bagels at home and they were pretty good. The pumpernickel everything and ww sesame were my faves.

Back in Brooklyn after living here a decade + gone for two years. Bagelsmith is an institution, + we're staying nearby = done.

Unfortunately they have run into some trouble at this location recently: they are extremely short-staffed + their POS system is down...
The result was a ~25 minute wait (only 1 party in front of us) for some of the saddest breakfast sandwiches ive ever seen this side of the East River. Barely any filling + very dry. The bagels themselves were fine NYC quality, but the overall sandwich was barely average for this town.

Not sure how long this issue has been going on, but we went to the Lorimer location the next day and it was every bit as tasty as we remembered.
Would recommend you take the L one stop further into Brooklyn and enjoy that location instead.

Don't go here unless you want to have your time wasted. Not even my first bad experience. First of all they have a little boy working the register that don't know how to work the register definitely under 14 years old and he's super nervous not even knowing what he's doing or giving out the wrong sandwiches. Waited in there for a half an hour for my sandwich not even get my sandwich and then charges me for my sandwich to then realize it's not even my sandwich, but was giving me the sandwich. If I did not check, I was leaving without the sandwich I asked for and paid for The first time this happened. I was given a sandwich that was not mine, and I walked all the way back to my destination, which is super far and had to come all the way back to get my sandwich. Then gave them the benefited of doubt to come again to now have even worse experience in my first time. customers that came in after me asking me how did they get their sandwich before me? I have no clue people are canceling their orders as they're coming in too because they see that we're waiting longer.

I would give negative stars if I could. I ordered a sour dough bagel with cream cheese and a cappuccino. And somehow this came to over $13!!! When I asked the clerk how that added up, he said that JUST the cream cheese itself to smear on a bagel… is $6.50!! Just to add cream cheese on a bagel. The cappuccino was also $6.50 and it tastes like muddy water, even with added sugar. This is a complete rip off and the owner clearly doesn’t care about his customers. The staff were nice, decent inside but at these prices - NEVER AGAIN. AVOID. SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED $ ELSEWHERE.

I just paid 12.95$ for an egg and cheese wrap and a small poland spring water.
I told the cashier that the other day I paid 7 95 for the same wrap, then he answered that they had to put an extra egg on it to be able to fill up the wrap.
Btw he was thinking for like 5min how much to charge me. I've known this place for years and I'm not coming back there ever again!!!!
