my favorite bakery in williamsburg. really sweet homemade pastries, coffee is decent. I love to get soup here in the afternoons. it gets a little too crowded in here but there’s a lovely hidden away backyard with tables. lovely gem of a place.

Good breads.
I tried iced matcha latte with chocolate banana walnut bread . The matcha is weak and watery unfortunately but the bread was delicious. Cute outdoor area

Wow—delicious drip coffee and a gluten free berry Financier. Neighborhood is young. I see no one above 40 walking the streets or in the cafe. Good place to see what young professionals are wearing to impress each other. Back to Bakeri itself! Baked goods look yummy and nice that there was a couple GF and vegan options. The coffee bar can work if you WFR—see a laptop. There’s also a “WC.” Love the decor!

Good quality but ABSOLUTELY the worst, rude and pretentious service for no reason. And that’s like their classic behavior. Everyone in the hood knows it. It’s a difficult combo because you want their product but refuse to go because simply don’t want to feel worse afterwards. Owner has to do something about it. ..
staff was unfriendly and there was tinfoil in my sandwich. cute but cursed vibes
Bakeri has some of the best pastries in Williamsburg. Their Kale rolls are heaven, but lately every time I go in for them, it’s always a 30 min - 1 hour wait. I’ve tried to go back at the time they say the rolls will be ready, and it’s still another hour wait. One day I went back every hour, 3 hours in a row, because I really wanted one, but each time I was told they are not ready. I’ve even gone back at less busy times and the pastry case is mostly empty, so I don’t understand why they are open until 6pm if they have nothing to sell. I do understand it is a small bakery, with a small kitchen, and the staff are all very lovely, but the bakery seems regularly underprepared for the volume of customers they get daily.

Had to wait 20 minutes on a order while people dinning-in got food before us. Not worth the trouble.

I took a visiting friend to Bakeri for coffee in the morning and it did not disappoint. I ordered an iced latte which was good and prices were comparable to other cafes in the area. They had a delicious-looking baked goods selection.
My only (not so positive) note is that it was HOT inside. It seems as though they do not have AC or have very limited AC. There are also not a ton of places to sit so whether or not you will get a seat is a gamble.

Big fan of the grapefruit yogurt loaf, and their coffee is good but is totally ruined by paper straws
