The food was great and so was the customer service. Natasha was our server and was very helpful and friendly. Macaroni and cheese, chicken wings and oxtails were great. We took a chance on a new place and it worked out fantastic!!!

Stopped by on 9/1/23 to purchase lunch and some other items. I came all the way from Pa. The food is horrible- the rice and chicken was very dry ( no sauce) roti is stiff and burnt around the edges, phlourie was dry and tough. Seems as though they have changed cooks over the years. Mettai was the only tasteful one. Need to change the cook again ?

I ordered a seafood soup , it was so salty that I thought someone made a mistake. Went I tried to explain to them that it wasn’t edible the girl got annoyed. She was very rude and explain to me that’s how they make their sauce. so I got my money back.I will never order from there again worst service ever.and I couldn’t post this without adding a star which they don’t deserve

When I got to the event and saw the chicken, I felt really bad, and embarrassed. It was a tray of chicken swimming in water with hardly any curry. The only ingredient I could taste was salt. For this she paid $150.00.Please do not waste your time and money to go to Bamboo Gardens.I suggest they close the restaurant.

Mannn listen, the food here is great!!! Especially the bbq sauce they put on it!!! Once you try it be careful, you might just be ordering from this restaurant veryyyyyy often lol lol. Try not to gain any weight lol lol

My 2nd purchase of 8 Chicken wings with Vegetable Lomein & not receiving what I paid for. 1st time I received 7 wings, unfortunately I was at home when I found out. I didn't bother contesting it. Now this 2nd time I complained in the store to the cashier lady about my previous experience and was told, "if the wings are too big.. you only get 7". I said Ma'am but I paided for 8, smh. This time around I only receive 6 wings even tho I paid for 8 wings again. I immediately brought my order back & showed the cashier. She then said they only sell 6 wings & never mentioned anything about 7 wings. Lucky, I was not by myself & someone was there to confirm what was stated by her upon purchasing my food. But because the damage was already done I returned my order & asked for my money back. I can't deal with a dishonest business practices & they are Lucky I don't report them to BBB for unscrupulous busines tactics. Charging someone for a service and not providing it is unscrupulous & false. I began eating the fish curry outside BAMBOO GARDEN and to my disappointment, the chunk snapper was fatty, too breaded, and tasted horribly.I went back into the ‘hole in da wall’ restaurantto share the horrible experience with the Guyanese Indian woman cashier who was not surprised at my experience.If you want a good Guyanese meal, this is NOT your place to check out.“WORST MEAL EVA “. Totally disappointed!Sorry, zero stars was was not an option.

Booked this place with Dao the event planner who is probably the owner too. He does not give documentatation for what you order for the event so he can cheat you.. make sure and write down and take pictures of what he promises he is a cheat. He took a deposit to hold the date for the birthday party. Promised a 5 star service. Lied thru his teeth the place was dirty there were enormous flies all over the skylight.. at that point we should have left.. we did not have any other venue set up so my niece decorated the place and it made a substantial difference. During the last hour as guests were leaving insects were seen crawling on the wall very unsanitary. So glad only a few of my guests witnessed the insects crawl ING behind the buffet set up . the bartender came and killed at least 5 of the insects. I should have demanded my money back. Demand an itemization from this man Dao if you still choose to us this venue. If they would clean and update the place it has a lot of potential.
