A Jazz lounge on Nostrand?! Pouring rain, a buddy of mine sought shelter here for some whiskey. Amazingly, Bill Hart in his 80's on the drums (played with Herbie Hancock in the 70's) is playing with a trio. Just some random night. One of those amazing tucked-away places of NY with a high-end whiskey and spirits menu.

Kid-friendliness: Don't bring kids.

What an incredible bar. The cocktails are amazing (the damsel in distress was delicious), the bartender was lovely, and the ambiance is so warm and cozy and relaxing. I went for the free Sunday night stand up show and it was such a good time. Highly recommend

The best cocktail bar in Brooklyn, no understatement. Great drinks at great prices, live jazz from local musicians, and the perfect ambience, can't recommend this place more highly.
