small and intimate and very nearly perfect. incredible cocktails! consistently great combos and bands. ambiance is amazing and everyone is lovely and makes drinks with a lot of care. the backyard is UNDERRATED!

only things missing: a longer beer list (maybe a cider? i can dream!) and some more flex seating/standing - it fills up QUICK!

A Jazz lounge on Nostrand?! Pouring rain, a buddy of mine sought shelter here for some whiskey. Amazingly, Bill Hart in his 80's on the drums (played with Herbie Hancock in the 70's) is playing with a trio. Just some random night. One of those amazing tucked-away places of NY with a high-end whiskey and spirits menu.

Kid-friendliness: Don't bring kids.

What an incredible bar. The cocktails are amazing (the damsel in distress was delicious), the bartender was lovely, and the ambiance is so warm and cozy and relaxing. I went for the free Sunday night stand up show and it was such a good time. Highly recommend
