Cute spot with cozy grown and sexy vibe, but families welcomed. Wood fired pizzas, called pinsa, fermented menu and other options that actually work!

How dare they call that focaccia.
Everything else is great. Chill vibe. Good drinks. The price disparity between food and quality is a little intense, but so is everywhere else. I want to check out their underground music thing they have going on.

Love this neighborhood spot. The atmosphere is great for whatever adventure you choose. Valentines day date at the bar, friends dinner at a table, or dinner with family from out of town in the cute backyard, there's something for everyone. The early-ish start to dinner is also great for parents. By the time we leave with our toddler, we see a wave of other folks come in at 630/7.
The staff (though limited to 2 visible ppl at a time at most) are very friendly, as most of them I've seen there since 2021 (solid tenure in food service theae days). They probably could use an extra hand, but we've never had to wait more than a sec for a seat (resy is straightforward there), long for food, or gotten the wrong food after going there many times a year.
The food is very good. Maybe not 5 star. I sometimes have to make myself be objective while judging the food, b.c. the setting, music (they randomly have a dope new jack swing and early 90s R&B playlist) and memories there make the food taste better than what we're getting and for the price. Food is very good, but maybe not the best Italian food or specialty pizza (though it's tasty!!) For the price. Some of the pizzas are hit or miss. Some are the best I've had! Others have seemed like the veggies were either undercooked or thrown on top after the pizza was nearly finished. The best I've had there is their cod and mash potatoes. The drinks are great too. I'd go for just drinks there if I were younger.

I never leave reviews but this place was disappointing! I’m not even a food snob. I saw other reviews were pretty good so maybe they had an off night or the cooks were sick. We got the zucchini flower blossoms which were wayyy too breaded and doughy and tasted like nothing? And it was served alongside more bread. I love bread but why all this bread?
The baked cacio e pepe was fine, kind of like frozen Mac and cheese with black pepper tho.
The pinsa with asparagus came out cold and hard.
My drink was a mule and very mediocre.
I wanted to love it but it just wasn’t it!!! Hoping it was a fluke.

Stopped here with my boyfriend and two couples after seeing Common and Pete Rock at Herbert Von King Park. The mushroom and prosciutto pizzas were phenomenal, but the pepperoni one was a bit gamey. The salads were mediocre. Slow service. Good ambiance.

Very cute place. Walked right in on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately. The place is actually bigger than it looks when you walk in. There’s a whole seating area and patio. Don’t let the bar name confuse you, huge menu. The pizza is good, maybe a bit unseasoned but perfectly crisp. The caccio e Pepe was a flop for me, it’s literally a baked mac and cheese and again light on the seasoning. Maybe some would like it but that dish wasn’t for me. I LOVED the Cicoria salad. I seriously contemplated ordering another. Would def go back! Spent $85 all inclusive for one pasta, one pizza, one salad, and two sodas no alcohol. Had a bunch leftover.

A neighborhood staple. First time staying in Brooklyn and tried this spot out. Great for cocktails, especially negronis. I absolutely loved the mezcal negroni and got the anchovies and olives. Highly recommend for drinks and a snack.
