It is so hard to get truly excellent decaf coffee. But when the manager, Baka, is making it, it's perfect every time. Never too watery, or too bitter. I am always so happy on the days when he's there.
And for folks who need outdoor dining/drinking options, they have a large, pleasant backward. Not a lot of shade from the sun or rain, but on nice days it's a very solid option if you need a Covid-safe place to chill.
Wednesdays they have half price deals, and many nights they have some kind of event (art, music, comedy, etc.).

Painting over the murals in the backyard is just horrible. Why do people insist on removing beauty from the world so we can have one more coffee shop that’s looks like every other coffee shop. Nice job, taking away the art. Ugh.

the kind of place makes you wanna slow down, sit and breathe and enjoy. i like it a lot. coffee and snacks are always good, warm fist thing in the am. lighting and style feels warm cohesive and quiet. the garden is lovely. for the win Bad Therapy.

‘Bad therapy’ is of the few genuinely cool spots in Kensington. They host a great lineup of live events every week, always something interesting going on. The coffee is consistently excellent (BaHa is the best barista by far - give that man a raise!).
