Walked in to this gem while taking a stroll with my boyfriend. Very low key and romantic bar. It was perfect and the music , drinks, service were all 10/10. Will definitely become my new neighborhood go to.

Bad therapy...more like musical therapy. The atmosphere made the slog through my pile of schoolwork pure joy :)

This is a great hangout spot for meetings and getting work done, and the food is a huge bonus! Love the caprese ciabatta sandwich and the savory pastries.

I love this place. Great vibe with super cool and friendly staff. Kudos to Emily and Anya. What I love the most is the cultural schedule with pretty cool live music, b-side old movies projected in their backyard and much more.

Karla is quick and efficient but this place definitely needs more people during the morning weekend shift.

Great coffee, solid spread of beer, and good cocktails in the evening.

Live music has been consistently good, with a great evening atmosphere.

Reasonable computer policies, with some tables as no-computer zones, that keep tables rotating.

Before you go, please be aware that this is the definition of gentrification. There used to be an amazing mural in the backyard honoring music greats… and now it is just a blank pink wall. So basically they literally erased art and replaced it with nothing. When you ask how culture in brooklyn died… you can use this place as exhibit A.

One of my favorite places in the neighborhood. The indoor and outdoor space is so beautiful, and it feels cozy and welcoming to either work on your own or relax with friends. Delicious food, excellent drink menu, and wonderful events (live music, movie screenings, wine tastings!) that have such a lovely sense of community about them. Good therapy for sure!

Claimed to have “housemade” lemonade and it was just a whole foods lemonade bottle! 7 dollars for whole foods lemonade is crazyyyyy. Mocha was not strong at all. Wanted it to be better. Maybe better as a wine spot but definitely not for coffee. The shop was cute inside but overall disappointing experience.

I’m totally hooked on Bad Therapy—it’s my fave spot for just about anything! Mornings, I’m there savoring their awesome coffee or matcha, and come the weekend, their brunch is a must—especially that shakshuka, it’s unreal. Their movie nights? I’m all in—sipping on seasonal cocktails and munching charcuterie while catching a flick. Hands down, it’s the best hangout in the neighborhood.
