One of the charming, new hidden gems of Clinton Hill neighborhood. Cocktails are top notch and love the classic NYC Art Deco atmosphere. Bar snacks were also better than we expected!

Nice and cozy bar. The ambiance of the place is intimate with dimmed lighting and low tempo music. The waiters are nice and attentive.

A wonderful boîte with tucked-away speakeasy vibes. Date spot for sure. The beverage director is amazing! Their inventive cocktail list is wild. They have a “clarified bloody mary” on tap, are you kidding me? And I really appreciate the non-alcoholic cocktail list too. (And oysters!) Such a find.

We have been meaning to come here for over two years now since they first opened. We always love ourselves as speakeasy cocktail bar. The service was nothing short of amazing. The spirit selection varied a lot. We were actually shot at how many bottles they carried. A lot of them aren’t regularly seen. The bartender was super knowledgeable and friendly. We grabbed two seats at the bar. And the drinks were very pleasant. Would be happy to come back and try out a few more of their cocktails.

Get the warm Hummus with brown butter and toasted pine nuts! It's so good. Can't explain much than that. Also get into an african gin that reasonably priced. Bayab orange and marula . Really good good gin for all gin based cocktails. Been looking for this brand for awhile. Glad they have it here! Also the bartenders here are amazing, know their spirits, and care about their craft. Really friendly too.

I went there with 2 friends, we ordered some simple dips, oysters and drinks. The oysters took forever to arrive, like literally around 40 minutes. In the meantime we asked for more bread and it also took forever. Unfortunately, the same happened previously when I went there with my husband, which is sad because I do like the place, the drinks are great, also the food, but it is unacceptable wait 40 minutes for 3 oysters and 30 minutes for extra bread. My friends and I would love to spend more time there, order more drinks but given the service, I definitely won't come back and don't recommend.

After dinner tonight, I stopped by bar francis to have a drink. Upon arrival had a cocktail with my friend, both were nice cocktails. The mood was nice but when something came up I had to leave the scene quickly and left 40 cash on the table for 2 cocktails which I thought was enough for the drinks which were about 16 each. About 15 minutes later receive a nasty phone call from the what I believe was the host, telling me that I owe them money for a difference in the bill. I quickly said oh my apologies il bring back money in the morning (which could not be more than 4 dollars) but was met with a threat that If I dont pay the change then I would be banned from the establishment? To this I realized how disrespectful to think I would be phoned in such a manner after explaining the situation and that I would easily come back the next day with 20 or more tomorrow for the misunderstanding. But after thinking about this phone call, I called back and told her I would give my credit card over the phone so I do not have to step foot in an environment where they loosely threaten their guests. She then refuses to take my card after I said I took her remark as a threat. Not only that but that they would report and flag my Resy account to double down on their disrespect. Absolute shame they have such a terrible employee. To that Bar Francis I hope you rethink the way you speak to a customer.
