Been here twice, probably won’t be back. Food is pretty overpriced and they only serve pizza. They don’t do a very good job cutting the pizza and it always comes out really floppy. Franklin Avenue has a lot of great restaurants and I would suggest taking a look around, definitely better pizza options in the area. The ambience was nice so I’ll give it that.

The atmosphere is really nice and the food is delicious. I went both during the day and evening and both were great. It feels like a cozy and warm neighborhood restaurant! Although it is a bit far from the main tourist attractions in Brooklyn, I highly recommend it! no see. If you're near the Botanical Garden and Brooklyn Museum, go there :)

Had the pleasure of dining at Barboncino recently, a wonderful experience overall and highly recommend. I know their Margherita pizza is out of this world and it was even better than I remembered. I asked for a suggestion on a wine and the bartender, Nikola, gave a great recommendation and made me feel right at home. His friendly demeanor and excellent service are top-notch so if you are at the bar, you should ask for him. And for anyone in Brooklyn looking for great pizza, wine, and even better hospitality, you should go to Barboncino now! Get that pizza!

We impulsively decided to dine at Barboncino for dinner for the first time on a Saturday after cocktails at Altar (an excellent cocktail bar, BTW). We'd been to Chavela's and Cent'Anni up Franklin Avenue, both of which we like, for dinner recently, and a new place appealed. Barboncino looks good from the sidewalk and the dining room is appealing and pleasant. Our food was very good to excellent. We ate a sopprassata pizza (very good), and anitpasto salad (excellent), and a side of giariniera. We find the prices fair. Our service was excellent. We'll go back.

I haven’t had the pizza yet but their service alone deserves the 5 stars. Vibe is on point. Will update once I’ve had the pizza. Don’t expect to be comped meatballs or the beer.
ETA: soppressata pizza was solid, meatballs were delicious. Wish it were larger, they’re one size (personal sized. imo) intended for 2. Add meatballs and it’s filling.
Pro tip: eat half and fry an egg the next morning for a breakfast hack.
