We were there to celebrate a birthday, and the Barboncino staff came through big time. The hostess was so friendly and accurate with her wait times, and our server Aidan was the best person we could ask for. He was personable, attentive, and went so far out of his way to ensure we were having a good experience and our birthday girl was taken care of. Everyone on staff was so lovely and had incredible poise! To top it all off, the food and drinks were marvelous. All the cocktails and Prosecco we tried were tasty and well-made, and the food was delicious and perfectly executed. We will absolutely be returning for many more visits after this one!Vegetarian options: We ate fully vegetarian and left happy and full! They have a great selection of vegetarian dishes across the appetizers, salads, and pizzas that should offer something for everyone!Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly, we saw many families enjoying meals and the menu is very approachable for young palates!

Extremely accommodating with kids. Pizza was thin crust and amazing! Glass of wine paired well with the pizza. Tiramisu is on point. Was skeptical about the chocolate drizzle on the plate that the tiramisu was placed on (hadn't seen it done this way before), but it caused no harm to the desert, and it tasted great!Kid-friendliness: Had high chairs and booster seats readily available. Hostess gave us some crustinis/crackers in a cup to help keep the 1 yr old occupied until the food came to the table. Clutch move and very nice of the hostess to do for us, making our experience that much better/top notch!

Came here after a night at the Brooklyn Museum and it was the perfect conclusion to the end of the night. Staff were friendly and we were seated right away. Drinks were good and pizza was delicious. Also got the gelato for dessert. The restaurant has a cozy feel to it. It much bigger inside than it appears from the outside.

Pizza is amazing. My go to pizza is the meatball pizza. It is extremely tasty and I can eat a whole pie on my own. It's a bit pricey for a mini pie but it is definitely worth it being that it tastes so good.

Excellent pizza if you’re craving something other than the standard slice. No reservations so there can be a bit of a wait, but it is well worth it!

One of my favorite places to eat pizza. One of the few places I can get a clam pizza that's spot on all the time. Just wish the crust had less of a flop but still delicious!! Drinks are always spot on.

A Crown Heights staple! Our go-to order (takeout or dining in) is the caesar salad, garlic bread (soooo good), and Margherita pizza to share between two people, but sometimes we'll mix things up with the Cremini and Hot Fennel Sausage or the Sopressata Piccante pizzas. Also recommend the cheese slate or olives. Definitely one of our favorite Neapolitan pizzerias in NYC and a solid spot to take out of town visitors.

Third visit, perhaps, but a first for brunch. Easy mellow seating and wonderfully vibrant breakfast pizza options. We had the Tart Cherry and Sopresata and the Florentine pizzas. "We" means my wife and I. She wanted the cherry but I was skeptical. My brain was a fool--it was dynamite. I need to shout out the staff here. They're always super welcoming, personable, and warm. Ojalá, I'll be back soon.

Mediocre pizza, good sauce but very wet and soggy in the middle. Tough to justify the price in a city with far superior pizza. Good service though!

The food here was very good and the service was excellent. I had to knock one star off because of a small issue with the pizza, which most would probably overlook. The toppings are great and the dough is solid. However the way they stretch it is completely incorrect for Neapolitan pizza. I didn’t see their entire process but from what I saw it was pretty clear that they stretch the dough with a rolling pin. This creates two problems. First, the edge of the crust is flat and doesn’t spring enough in the oven because the rolling pin degasses the crust so there is no air to create a puffy and crunchy border. This leads to a very dense crust that is not very appetizing. Second, the center of the crust is too thick! Yes, this is the opposite problem as the edge. It’s not a huge issue but it leads to a center crust that’s too crispy and not soft enough. Neapolitan pizzaioli use a very specific technique to stretch and flatten the center of the dough ball while at the same time pushing most of the air into the edge of the crust, creating a thin soft center and a puffy, airy and crispy edge that is a pleasure to eat. I think I would turn this into 5 stars if they adjusted their technique. The pizza is 95% there!I also knocked one star from atmosphere because I was sitting against the heater which was roasting me…Kid-friendliness: We took our kids here. They shared one margherita and the meatballs. They loved everything!

Delicious Italian-style pizza and great ambiance. They had a band playing when I went. Perfect date spot in the neighborhood.
