Service from Jose was excellent and management went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food was delicious. Would come back again.

Great food, but the single sex water closet available was very cringe. My wife wasn’t comfortable being in there alone, and me waiting in her apparently made some of the other women uncomfortable and I totally get that

It was an absolutely horrible way to end a perfectly nice meal.

We visited Barbuto for our company holiday dinner, which is close enough to Barclay’s (for a Nets game afterwards). I walked in the door and felt like I got the vibe of the place immediately. That isn’t always the case at places to eat, as sometimes a place doesn’t really know its own vibe. Cool and chill, and every person I encountered on the short walk to the table was inviting and friendly. The menu is kind of funky and somewhat hard to read but full of grey options. We started with tuna, salad, focaccia bread and the carpaccio. We were 5 and this was plenty to share and whet the appetite. I had the sea bass, which was very good (on a bed of squash) but the chicken appeared to be the winner; just make sure you are hungry if you order the yard bird. It comes as a roasted half. The gnocchi was also ordered and was a similar large portion. Desserts were equally varied and sounded amazing although we did not order any. Our server knew the menu inside and out and could not have been more friendly and fun. Add all of this up and then check the view outside of the Freedom Tower, Brooklyn Bridge and lower Manhattan and you get a dynamite spot for a date or lively get together. If you end up having to wait for a table, no worries bc the lobby for the hotel that is opposite the entrance to the restaurant is a very cool space on it’s own.

The food and ambience were great, but our server Tarren really made it exceptional. Also probably more ideal to go with a date.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly and kind service. Thank you Josh :) the hotel is wonderful and yet you don’t feel like you’re at a hotel. One our best experiences.

We were on our second date, which required a lot of conversing and connecting. The ambiance was spectacular. Calm, quiet enough for us to hear one another and tables were spaced at a reasonable distance so we could share small moments without annoying other guests. Mateo was our server, he was warm, welcoming and informative. He timed all courses perfectly service felt attentive but not intrusive. The cocktails were great, and the food amazing. Thank you for the welcome champagne, a very special surprise and delight.

Barbuto in DUMBO was such an exceptional experience that I returned two nights in a row. The food and wine were outstanding—the crudo, pizza, and salad tasted incredible, and I loved being able to try a couple of new wines - everything was beautifully executed, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge from the big windows at the bar. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Ulises, Jeander, and Paolo delivered a level of hospitality that felt genuinely special, making us feel like VIPs. This is the kind of experience that stays with you long after the meal ends.

We had a great dinner at Barbuto last night - - sharing old memories and creating new ones! Travis (the amazing sommelier), Gavin and the team took such great care of us. As a party of six we shared dishes family-style and while I could go on about each dish, the kale salad was to die for and the pistachio cake - delicious!! Leave room for dessert. We will be back!

My friends are getting married this week, and we were looking for a quaint, reasonably priced place to take friends and family to kick off the celebrations. We decided on Barbuto on a Monday night for pizzas, salads, and their amazing meatballs—and it was absolutely the right choice. The ambience this time of year is gorgeous, tucked right by Brooklyn Bridge Park with views of the bridge and the skyline. It felt magical without being pretentious. Everything we ordered was delicious, the pricing was very fair, and the service was truly fantastic. Whether you’re looking for a full dinner experience or just want to stop by for some of their signature dishes and great cocktails, I highly recommend Barbuto. A beautiful setting, great food, and an easy, welcoming vibe exactly what we wanted.

The atmosphere is really a lot of fun. Grace, our server, was full of interesting recommendations, and Travis was a great wine sommelier who gave us great recommendations. If you’re hanging around Brooklyn underneath the bridge this is definitely a place to check out.
