Wow! Love this place. Joe is the best bartender ever. Love that they have my favorite pinball machine, total nuclear annihilation. The managers are always so helpful and are happy to give me a token if mine gets stuck, which almost never happens because the games are so well maintained.
My only criticism is that, while Barcade has an excellent craft beer, craft gin, and whiskey selection, all highlighting small independent producers, their tequilas are all mass produced and the selection seems much less thoughtfully curated. It's interesting because agave is actually the biggest growth category in the spirit world!
This is really important to me so I'm deducting two whole stars. Other than that one thing everything is great though.

Good amount of vintage arcade games especially shooting and pinball. I easily spent 1.5hrs by myself with $10 in tokens. Games are at least 50c a play.
Definitely try Quick & Crash or BishiBashi with friends. Make sure to bring cash.

Why does it have to be so loud? An otherwise amazing experience made frustrating by the noise level. Service was perfect (when they could hear me) and the games were on point but I had to yell through a nearly impenetrable wall of sound the entire night. Ringing ears and a raspy voice has me hesitant to visit again.
Beer selection is pretty well thought out (wish I knew who did and could offer some suggestions of my own). A little heavy on the IPAs, which I feel now is an being brewed at a level of overkill. Need to diversify there. Games are oldie classics and hey have done a great job to hit many of the big names. They need to get some better ones than the ones in the far back corner. Not a lot of high repeat play on those.
Edit: they have added Great Lakes beer from Cleveland, Ohio. I’m biased but that beer is the best of the mid west if not the country. Dortmunder gold is such a well balanced tasty beer that follows traditional German beer purity laws rather than all the other major beer company crap they put into beer today.

I haven't tried the food, and the atmosphere would have been better for me if I was able to hear myself think or even speak, the music was just too loud for me. Other wise it's a cool place to go if you don't mind the loud music ? and don't go on the weekend if you don't want to be in a crowded bar.

Fun little spot! My boyfriend and I go here when we visit from NC to get away from family and it’s the perfect setting to chill out and play some old school video games! Drinks are good, bartenders are nice and they offer bagged snacks as well.
