Came here for a late lunch along with my infant son. Left impressed with the food and the value of their lunch portions. The salt and pepper pork and fish casserole dish were my favorites here. The staff were accommodating and took time from their own lunch break to serve us. The only downside is that this place is quite far from where I live.

I moved away from NY but I still crave the salt and pepper soft-shelled crab every so often. So blessed to come back and have it again today. Nice big portions and the crab and "saltwater" chicken were very fresh. The congee also surprised us because it was huge! Lots of pork and century egg.100% recommended.

The owner refused to allow us to be seated! We entered the restaurant at approximately 2:15 PM on 1/13. ALL tables but one were totally empty-there were 4 seated at the rear table. We were told you need a reservation. We told him we had eaten there just three weeks ago at lunchtime with no difficulty. He refused to seat us insisting, even though there was plenty of seating and he admitted there were no large parties on their way, that you must make a reservation. I asked him if we went ouside & called to make a reservation would he seat us & got no answer. When we told him he'd never see us again & that we'd post our experience online he said "I don't care"-I can only hope the guy is crazy and didn't deny my wife & I seating because we were non-Asian.

20230115::first time here ordering my fav whaat daan ngow yuk faan. or beef in egg swirl. $8 damm. i was hoping it was good but it was salty, 1/3 of the container and rest was rice and not too much beef. i wouldnt be upset if it was $5.50. the roast pork was very crispy so that was a balance

I ordered three meals for delivery and the receipt also wrote down the price of each one ,but the total amount charged extra 10 dollars, I call back to them ask why , the boss answered me right now the price is so expensive, then hang up the phone, the service so bad and I don’t visit there anymore

Used to be perfect under the old owner. Now, they are deceiving in food prices, portion, and ingredients. Be aware. I will never visit there again. If you are not a neighbor who knows the current owner, they give you a totally different price (40% higher) after the meal and say it’s COVID.

This place is obviously one of the finest restaurants in the area. Always when I visit this place I am extremely satisfied. They always keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.
