Been coming here for years! The food is always fresh and you can really taste the difference from other sushi places! They recently added omakase (which my friend ordered but he didn’t take a picture) and he said it was really good!!

I ordered the sushi and sashimi with miso soup for lunch. Food was very good. Fish tasted fresh. California roll was well-prepared. Soup had flavor and not too salty.

This place is the neighborhood staple. The first Japanese restaurant to open in Bay Ridge over 20 years ago.They are consistent in their quality of food and service.The place is always busy.I tried their Toro Chip appetizer. It's a newer addition to the menu.Tuna, black tobiko, urchin, pickled jalapeños, cracker and avocado underneath. It was delicious and did not dissapoint.

Called in on a Friday and ordered 6 rolls on the lunch menu: 2 eel roll, a salmon avocado roll, a spicy shrimp mango roll, a Philadelphia roll, and a spicy crunchy salmon roll. The waitress was very nice and patient on the phone. Pick up was quick and the staff was friendly in person also. The total came out to be just under $30 which is amazing. Food was delicious and they do not cheap out on the rolls with a lot of rice.

Ordered delivery on December, 23 at 7:20 pm. Received an email confirmation with delivery time of 8:12 pm. Called restaurant around 8:30 pm and was told that it should be delivered any minute. When I called at 9 pm same female voice told me that order was never made and they simply preparing it now. I asked to cancel my order (almost 2 hours passed) and this person just hanged up. Order was delivered at 9:40!!! Imagine the quality of dishes made in a rush…And after all instead of charging my card for $52 (as it’s on email confirmation) my card was charged for $65….

Sushi is very good and fresh. I really do enjoy the regular tuna and salmon rolls the fried rolls are okay sometimes they did taste old the sweet potato fried roll i think it depends on the roll. I think it was when i ordered the lunch special.
