I really wish I had read the reviews before visiting this place what a major disappointment. I wasted $33, and honestly had to throw the entire meal in the trash. I ordered white rice and legumes, but the rice was both overcooked and undercooked in different parts. The legumes had no meat, and when I asked about it, the lady told me they donât include meat in their legumes. Instead, she handed me a small bag of griot to âadd to itâ myself. Like⌠what kind of setup is that? Then I ordered akra and marinade both were terrible. The akra was mostly flour and had no real flavor. Overall, this was a total waste of money and time. I will never go back to this establishment. Bebe Fritay, please do better.

I asked for the griot and she said there wasnât any left, then the guy in the back reminded her that someone else (important) was coming so more needed to be made anyway. Long story short if you ever see these huge pieces of meat. Iâm not sure about anyone else but I like my griot in small pieces. The Friday was stale. I wish I could give zero stars. Sooo mad right now never ever again.

I wanted to share my recent experience at your restaurant, as I believe feedback can help improve service. During my visit, I asked for a large portion instead of medium and mentioned that the bowl for the sauce wasnât suitable. Additionally, I requested an extra spoon and bowl. Unfortunately, the waitress responded negatively and front of other customers saying that Iâm annoying her amd bored her ( Ou anwiyan oui Ou anmède m anpil oui Ou wèm gen lòt moun poum sèvi) which made me feel uncomfortable and also not to mention she lied like I said previously I asked for and extra bowl and she said she put it on the bag when she sees me looking that when she gives it to me. I appreciate good service and believe that open communication is essential in a dining experience. I hope this feedback can help enhance customer interactions in the future. Had to cancel my order. They tried to rip me off because I donât Creole. Griot Fritay comes with griot, spicy sausage, patata, akra, and marinade! The person at the counter tried to charge me $5 extra. Why are they like this? Why attempt to rip people off. If you donât want Americans in America to buy from your place of business then place a sign outside that says Haitians only!! I prefer that than to have someone insult my intelligence and treat me as if I donât know what Iâm talking about. Donât give this place your money. Go somewhere⌠anywhere else.
