Customer service was terrible — the workers were flat-out rude. The meatloaf was dry and flavorless, the collard greens had a weird sweet aftertaste, and the fried whiting was badly overcooked. On top of that, the fries were soggy. This place is not worth the money or the trip. I’ve had way better food and will never be coming back.

This was my first time in NYC, and I wasn't to familiar with the restaurants there but I stumbled upon this GEM here. The food was DELICIOUS!! I had tried the Seafood Platter which was amazing and seasoned to perfection. I also tried the Ox Tail Cheesesteak... Amazing as well. This will most definitely be one of my regular food stop, when I travel to New York!!

The best soulfood you can get in Brooklyn. The jerk chicken, the salmon, the grilled shrimp, the pasta etc...I could keep going on...everything they cook is delicious by far...very tasty and flavorful I must add. You can't go wrong with Bed Sty Fish Fry.

I cannot rate atmosphere, there is ni where to eat in. To Go only restaurant. I must say Fulton Street and St. James store customer Service has got much better. Those young girls he use to have at the counter had attitudes that were unpleasant. The young ladies and gentlemen are much more polite. The food is pretty good. The fried fish is my favorite. The cabbage is a hit or miss. Sometimes it can be very crunchy with no taste. I usually stick with the Yams and Spinach, side of potatoe salad.

I’m extremely disappointed with everything we ordered tonight. My husband and I both got the oxtail plates — I chose mac and cheese with rice and peas, while he got mac and cheese with collard greens. Unfortunately, the experience from the Fulton St. location was a complete letdown. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
We placed our order around 8:30 PM and received it via Uber Eats around 9:30 PM. From the very first bite, the food was a disaster. My mac and cheese tasted like it was made with spoiled milk, and the rice was clearly scraped from the bottom of the pot — dry, hard, and flavorless. The oxtails were tough, fatty, and lacked tenderness.
My husband’s plate was cold and just as bland. The collard greens offered no redemption. As for the banana pudding, it was a strange mix of yogurt-like texture or canned whipped cream, with a few banana slices and some cookies thrown in. Not at all what we expected.
Sadly, we ended up throwing away nearly $53 worth of food. We didn’t even finish our plates.
What’s most disappointing is that I’ve had amazing food from them in the past — years ago, at a different location that has since closed. I really wanted to support them again, but this experience was unacceptable.
I love this place I love their food nice location to me a little bit pricey what some dishes are worth it

RUDE! I just called to find out if they removed an item for buy one get one free as IT WAS REMOVED and the male that answered tried to gaslight me and say it never was that item. No good night good evening nothing just rude when they answer the phone! I’m a customer if I’m calling to inquire because I am trying to spend MY MONEY you need to have better customer service ethics! And stop lying because it was on sale turkey meatloaf and turkey wings sounds and looks completely different in lettering. NEVER BUYING FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB THEN DONT WORK THERE!

Well, for Food, Service, & Atmosphere I'm giving Bedstuy-Fish Fry (Fulton St) 5 ***** Across the board, Y'all are my daughters & my favorite soul food spot!!! We ❤️ Love the Fish, Shrimp & Seasoned fries. The Mac & Cheese is EVERYTHING!!! MY GOODNESS 😀 Everything looks delicious...I had a taste of my husband's Catfish sandwich and that was quite tasty and those turkey wings are delicious too. So, thank you very much ❤️ for the delicious food served in your very clean restaurant 🥰☺️😉

The customer service is awful majority of the times. There’s a specific woman photo that I’m going to add in this review. Her energy was very distasteful and she was not helpful. Disengaged in taking my order. Please retrain your staff to promote a positive environment that offers courteous customer service
