Today.. I ordered the turkey wings which was supposed to come with rice & peas and cabbage as my sides.. I also ordered the coconut & pineapple slice of cake. I don’t know if they changed the cook or someone was having a bad day but my food came with no cabbage at all they sprinkled maybe a spoon of rice on the plate and put two burnt & dried up turkey wings on there. They sent carrot cake instead of what I ordered (coconut pineapple) and my Mac and cheese was COLD. I ordered from here once before so I’m kind of shocked at how low the quality was this time around. Wasted $50. It can be good food but it’s hit or miss. Try ya hand at your own risk.

I ordered via Uber. I've ordered several times from this location and tje food has been scrumptious! Tonight it WAS AWFUL! The fried fish was tasteless and soggy, the Mac and cheese was HORRIBLE, and the yams were also extremely soggy.
The sad part was, and friend recently ordered and received really bad food, but I said it had to be a one off! Well...I was wrong!
I am hopeful that they'll return to their former glory!

I love the food but twice I did not get my full order and to get in contact with the restaurant is a waste because they will direct you back to uber or whoever brought your order. I just ordered 2 plates of - 2 pieces jerk chicken,($1.00 more for jerk chicken), peas & rice and macaroni salad . One of my orders had one piece ????? The rice was scattered all over it??? Means deliverer was not careful with delivery. Either way, the problem I hope came from the kitchen and took advantage and just didn’t put my second piece of chicken (maybe it was last piece before the other bash was made? ) it’s just crazy how people do this and think no one will notice??? And worst I thought what if the deliverer took it out of my plate since their plates are not stapled which I highly recommend! I hope someone in 940 Fulton Street sees this review and let others know. They will loose a lot of customers!!!

Delicious food, great portions. They also have a good selection of buy one get one , must order ahead to get the promotion. Food hasn't disappointed yet
Customer service was terrible — the workers were flat-out rude. The meatloaf was dry and flavorless, the collard greens had a weird sweet aftertaste, and the fried whiting was badly overcooked. On top of that, the fries were soggy. This place is not worth the money or the trip. I’ve had way better food and will never be coming back.

This was my first time in NYC, and I wasn't to familiar with the restaurants there but I stumbled upon this GEM here. The food was DELICIOUS!! I had tried the Seafood Platter which was amazing and seasoned to perfection. I also tried the Ox Tail Cheesesteak... Amazing as well. This will most definitely be one of my regular food stop, when I travel to New York!!

The best soulfood you can get in Brooklyn. The jerk chicken, the salmon, the grilled shrimp, the pasta etc...I could keep going on...everything they cook is delicious by far...very tasty and flavorful I must add. You can't go wrong with Bed Sty Fish Fry.
