ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECIEVED ANYWHERE! BED STUY was requested specifically so that is why I went here. This location is a take-out only establishment with a long steam table under glass where you pick what you want. First the good, 3 parking spots. That's a big deal in Brooklyn. I arrived at about 11:30am and pulled right up to the front. Thats the end of most of the good. There are several doors side by side and no sign on the actual entrance door. The front glass was foggy and difficult to see inside. The standing area is painted in a drab color like a correctional or check cashing facility. NO PRICES OR MENUS TO BE SEEN. The counter runs left to right all the way across the store. There was a young man all the way to the left behind the counter. I walked up to him said hello and started giving him my first of two orders. He did not say a word. He lifted his right arm and pointed to the other end of the counter. I was confused. I asked him what does that mean? Again nothing came out of his mouth. The worker just started walking so I followed him. When he stopped, I stopped and then he nodded. I placed two orders to take out, pictures attached. When the bill was totaled I almost had a heart attack. Over $50 for food served in plastic. The food was good, a strong 8 out of 10. Very good but certainly not super exceptional. I paid the bill and the bag was plopped on the counter. No thank you, no come back again. Nothing. As a matter of fact there were about 6 staff working in the kitchen area and they all looked like they were at a wake. I spend my money only with vendors that treat me properly. Small businesses have to learn customer service in order to grow and maintain clientele. Bye bye Stuy for me. Never again!

Soul Travel Experience

This is the second or third time I have ordered from this particular location where my money was taken and my order was canceled. I called and they had me on hold for over 30min which is super unprofessional, outrageous and extremely disrespectful. I never spoke to anyone there to rectify the situation because they left me there. I will NEVER Order from this location ever again! Save your time and save your money they do not care and they don’t show hospitality and no remorse for even doing such things.

I love that yall have a parking lot. When I tend to see my doctor afterwards I get a dinner. I don’t like that fact that the cashier is ringing folks up and then serving folks. I feel that yall should hire more help. Today a guy rang my order up after he just served someone food and didn’t change his gloves. I had to say please change your gloves. That’s cross contamination if this happens and no one is paying attention to this and then becomes extremely sick thinking yall have them food poisoning. There also aren’t any menus out with prices. I guess the prices are fluctuating daily. Please train your staff. I like the food and want to continue coming back. I go to all locations.

I hate that this is my first negative review, especially after being a loyal customer of Bed-Stuy Fish Fry for over 10 years. I’ve always returned because the food has been consistent and good—until today.

Thankfully, I keep photos of my food. The first picture shows what the whiting is supposed to look and taste like. The second picture, the whiting sandwich I received today, was completely different. It tasted like cheap, frozen fish you’d buy from Jetros—the kind that’s been frozen, defrosted, and refrozen. It was soggy, dry, and lacked the fresh flavor Bed-Stuy Fish Fry is known for.

I was physically in the store and ordered a whiting dinner through the Uber app to take advantage of the buy-one-get-one-free deal. Because I enjoy the whiting so much, I also ordered a whiting sandwich. Unfortunately, this was the worst whiting I’ve ever had.

When I called the store, I was told I was the only person who complained today. That still doesn’t answer the real issue: why wasn’t I told the whiting had been replaced or was different from your usual fish? If the quality changes, customers deserve to know before spending their money.

I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. I wasted $45, and now I have to spend even more money to get dinner for my family from somewhere else. After 10 years of loyalty, this experience was unacceptable.

Whoever making that Mac and cheese and yams need to be fired yuck I’m so disgusted they are the worst one out of all of them smh I would never eat from here again I don’t know why it be so busy cause the food I order was nasty chicken with the Mac and cheese and yams I should of went to Kennedy Fried chicken

Food is always good here service can have a step up. Girls are doing a good job but the food takes way too long and the delivery app services need to accommodate with that. Waited over an hour for my food and I was told cancel it if you want your food is somewhere back there there.. waited pick up time was 5:46 PM. Waited till 715. Left with no food to go home to my hungry kids. It’s all good went to Popeyes. Didn’t really want that but it is what it is.

I just got my order from UBER EATS AND IT WAS INCOMPLETE. I ORDERED THE STUFFED SALMON WITH MASH POTATOES AND BROCCOLI AND ALL I GOT WAS THE SALMON NO SIDES. THE BUY ONE GET ONE.
I WANT MY $73.77 back. ASAP

I ordered food 1 hour to wait and see your food sitting in front of you getting cold. You have people walking in putting phones in the workers face and being serviced while all along your waiting. Very unprofessional and the yound man working their bagging up the food is clueless about customer service.
You would want to keep your customers happy not sad.

The food was great. A clear indication was the 30 minute wait before ordering!!! Yes..customers know where to go for good food!!! O had their turkey wings ,mac & cheese and collard greens.It was delicious!!!
