Bad experience! I'm all about supporting black-owned businesses but from the entrance; the host greeted us as such. Do you have reservations? My response was no. He said, just the 2 of you? I said yes. Follow me was his response. The server was a bit unprofessional as the host was. She even asked me to assist her while serving us our drinks. I did not realize I was employed here. Never checked back with us. Mistic Blu was extremely courteous to us, and we purchased Hookah from her. Had Fred, the manger was, there; my review would not have been this bad. Monét is probably the best server there, and she was my server the last time I was there. Never coming back, no apology needed. My opinion, if management doesn't set the precedence for the business and/or staff, reviews will be constant like this. Best wishes to your establishment.

The comedy show was exceptional, however the service was poor (really wanted to give 5 stars). My friends and I attempted to order food and beverages and was advised that the waitress would be at our table shortly. When she did show up we stated we wished to place orders, she said one sec and then left and took orders at a different table. When we did see her again we signaled that we still had not ordered, she came and took them and advised she would let us know if our items were available. The show ended and we had yet to receive food or even our beverages. I guess serving us was not on her radar. Will attend another show, however I will be sure to eat prior too or make dinner reservations for after.

We had a great surprise Hero birthday party for my brother. The staff was awesome and so was the food. Owner Fred and DJ Frank Smooth was so great to my guests.

A night ruined. My fiancé gave the waitress a $20 tip apart from the whole bill and she presumed that was her tip for the evening. She went back to the manager who then accused us of being inappropriate for leaving a small tip when we were still at the bar collecting a $200+ tip. Sometimes black owned business just assume the worse of the black patrons. Won’t ever be dining there again. The menu had missing items you couldn’t order and the margaritas was watered down.

Food is pricey but well worth it due to being seasoned very well and therefore tasty. The crowd is very respectful and cordial. The comedians are funny despite being a bit profane.

Terrible service at the bar. There was a show in the back (June 12, 2021) where the comedian asked who was NOT vaccinated. After too much applause, I left. They did not check temperatures. They did not keep a log for contact tracing. And, of course, they did not require masks.

I attended a comedy brunch on Sunday April 18, 2021 hosted by Dave Lester. The flyer posted by the host indicated funds spent were to include food, bottomless mimosas and there were be raffles and giveaways. No raffles, no giveaways were done nor mentioned. I approached Mr Lester inquiring about what on the flyer. He responded,"oh no you are only paying for the comedy show. All food and drinks are separate." OK I will take the hit.Now, my second grievance is with bedford manor. The food,service and drinks are below satisfactory. The food seem be 2days old reheated with sauce poured over it. The drinks to taste seem to be watered down and not mixed properly. It was not crowded with patrons so I wondered why it took over an hour to served.Over all, I left completely disappointed with comedy show and service at Bedford Manor.
