Had a great experience at Beer Street. We hosted a family party here and we were able to bring in catered food. The staff was super accommodating and even opened a little early to allow us to set up the catering! And amazing beer and wine selection! Highly recommend!

Visited for a small gathering with friends and found the space overall pleasant. The two bartenders were great, delivering excellent service and enhancing the experience.

Unfortunately, the manager, Felipe, left a negative impression. He was rude, condescending, and unaccommodating, giving the sense that he was irritated to be working or providing any level of service. Hopefully, improvements can be made moving forward.

These guys seem to be waging a war on people with children. Used to come, won’t again. Good luck with the neighborhood you’ve chosen!

We are group of 4 and walk on try to get some beers around 4:20, my husband and I were sit on the high table and my son and his friend was at the bar try to get us some drinks, they were wait at the bar and get to get the bartender’s attention for good 15 min. The bartender just complete ignore my son and his friend and asking the order for the people come after them for their order…we walked out out the place and won’t come back again and will tell our friends live around here don’t go to this bar ever.
Hope the manager managing the bar read this email or anyone who are not white lives around here, don’t walk into this bar ever. They don’t deserve the money from people like us.

Best beer bar in the area + they've rounded out the menu for non-beer drinkers

We hosted a birthday party for a large group (adults and children ) with catered food, and they were wonderful. The bartenders were very friendly and the tap list is consistently great. Would recommend!

James was a great bartender and ensured our large group had a great time. It was easy to make a reservation for such a big group too.

Waste of time. If you sit outside you have to order inside. I waited over 5 minutes to place an order. Bartender was busy talking so we left. Terrible service t ??

From a drink perspective, everything was good. Good options and they had a fully stocked bar too.

The only thing lagging was that it was August and they only had the fans going, no AC. It was a bit too warm, especially after drinking.

My friends and I have been coming here monthly for almost 2 years and the previous bartender who was here on Thursday nights was so kind and welcoming. The lady there today was the rudest bartender I have ever encountered anywhere. I see from other recent reviews that this is not an isolated experience. I hope Beer Street South will revisit their staffing choices and bring back the warm, welcoming vibe we used to know them
for.

Came here to watch the final of the 2024 European Championship, which they were advertising on Instagram as a place to watch the match. They had zero TV's, literally ONE bartender to serve over 100 guests who were all bamboozled into watching there, and zero atmosphere. You couldn't watch anything let alone hear anything. The management of this locale should be absolutely ashamed of themselves because with a space this large, this place should be a neighborhood staple for big events. Instead, it's a dreadful, boring, and completely forgettable locale that has nothing going for it besides aggressively and weirdly named beers.

The fact that they somehow get away with showing anything on a wall via a projector but are too cheap/lazy to even hang a projector screen is beyond me. How about you invest in a sound system or TV's instead of lying on Instagram for undeserved patronage?

Don't listen to the fake Lauren Feldman review below - this place is an absolute abomination for anything involving live events on TV. The bartender was indifferent and overwhelmed and moving at a snail's pace. Stay as far away as possible.

UPDATE. Since the owner is trying to discredit the review, I'm gladly attaching proof of sale. To the owner: I know you're having a tough time making rent - as evidenced by the number of employees, lack of food options, televisions, and sewage smell - but you should start to consider spending less time arguing against valid reviews on Google Maps and getting to work. Loser.

Do not come here if you expect kind or even remotely polite employees. We visited at 2 PM on a Saturday, and the place was completely empty except for our group of 16 adults (comprised of parents and grandparents) and 9 kids. Fresh from a birthday party at Chelsea Piers, we had a few (6) balloons with us. Despite being the only customers, the employees were incredibly rude. They clearly did not want children there, even though the establishment allows them.

Their hostility was apparent from the start. They gave us curt, one-word answers when we asked about drinks and displayed the worst attitudes imaginable. They mentioned having had issues with kids before and made it clear that they didn't want us there due to past experiences. Their behavior was unacceptable, making everyone in our group uncomfortable.

Avoid this place at all costs!!!! The service is abysmal, and the staff is the rudest I've ever encountered. It's shocking that such an unfriendly establishment exists in the otherwise family-friendly Brooklyn neighborhood. They should seriously consider relocating. I have a video of how chill our kids were being while these nasty employees just huffed and puffed around us the entire time but can’t post it. We left shortly after and went to BierWax just a block away who warmly welcomed kids and were so incredibly kind!!! Go there instead!
