We stopped by mid afternoon Sunday before a show at Second City (nearby). The servers were quick to set up drinks and snacks. Enjoyed the big open space. Given the name (bees knees), I was surprised to learn they aren’t stocked with Barr Hill Gin from Vermont which is made from honey. Strongly recommend the manager offered Bar Hill Gin! Obvious choice!

My fiance and I stopped here for a late lunch bite while visiting Brooklyn and will absolutely be stopping by before we head home. We each had a cocktail (bees knees was wonderful) as well as the hummus and the chicken bites. Absolutely phenomenal! Great food great vibes

We stumbled into this place when I just needed somewhere to sit for a while and it turned out to be one of my favorite stops! Josh, our bartender, was so welcoming and fun to talk to. He made me a delicious bees knees OG drink that was just right. The location is great for a quick jaunt down to the water’s edge after having some delicious cocktails. Highly recommend!! The bar manager (I assume) is kinda slow, but the kitchen staff, is amazing dealing with call outs and Morgan is the reason people come back. They may not know your name, and the men may love flirting. With locals more than service, but Morgan, makes it worth it for a nice local family.
