I used toto come here often but had moved. When I went back I noticed the staff had changed. At that time the bagels seemed different. Yesterday I went back for the first time in like a year or two. The bagels were definitely not like they used to be. It have me the taste of a supermarket bagels not an authentic NY bagel.

Terrible spot. Came in to use the bathroom and the manager or owner on duty said it's for paying customers. As I'm waiting for my order of food, he goes back on his word saying the bathroom is for employees only. Don't come here if you value the word of others and don't like being lied to.

A pretty good, no-frills Brooklyn bagel shop. Main downside is how hot it is inside. I was sweating. The food itself is pretty solid, though.

I got an egg, cheese, and jalapeño on everything—bagel was semi-fluffy, fixings were fresh. The jalapeño was layered in large slices, which was texturally different from what I’m used to, but still good.

I also ordered a medium iced coffee with milk. It was OK, but had a bit of a burnt taste. They offer mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, and hot sauce packets at the counter. The mustard and hot sauce went pretty well with my bagel.

No complaints about service—it’s straightforward and simple. Pretty neutral and normal. I don’t my bagel clerk doing a song and dance, so it’s all good. Overall this Bergen location is a solid choice for a quick breakfast or lunch. There are better options in the area, but at the price point this shop earns a 4/5 stars.

Rude customer service, they move so slow and are very short while dealing with the customer. Lines quickly build up and they move at their own pace.

My go to bagel shop for the last four years. Deserves better reviews! Workers are kind and prompt, bagels always fresh. Lines are not long compared to other similar places imo. Less than $9 for a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Great regular neighborhood spot.

I’m a NYC elitist/snob and these are very solid bagels. The spot gets bad reviews because of customer service and mistakes. My orders are simple and I also can speak spanish if I need to. So I have never had an issue. If your orders are more complicated you might be better off going to a cafe. But if you want a solid bagel I highly recommend. Best tasting bagels in the immediate area. Great whole wheat options too.

Neighborhood gem. Toast and butter a slice of the chocolate babka? HEAVEN.

They also carry Acme Whitefish, and they make Egg Everything bagels. What more do you need to know they’re the real deal. 🤌

Simple bagel goodness: scallion upon whole wheat. Pairs well w/ a black coffee. Classic Brooklyn bagel joint upon which I stumbled!

This place deserves a better rating. I’m a bagel snob, bagels are my favorite food. This place is great! I get an egg bagel, extra toasted with cream cheese. My backup, poppy & cream cheese. Both are top quality. The workers are real nyc bagel professionals, no kids. They are fast and kind. Beverage prices are more reasonable than all the other bagel places. Inside, I wish it was more inviting but that’s always an issue with bagel places. This is a good shop! And super grateful I have a dependable spot close to me.

Clean and fast. Was a little more expensive than I would expect, and they barely toasted my bagel. Scallion cream cheese was good.
