Staff ignores female customers and takes males first. I waited to ask for my mobile order and got ignored multiple times. I had to interrupt to say I had been here. I asked for my online order and they hadnât even pulled the ticket yet. The older woman was quite rude. Then, for $12, itâs not worth the money for what you get

No respect at all for the community the people very Rude very trashy and disrespectful, low key aggressive for no reason at all (but who knows) they were acting like a bunch of cartel gang members. Over slight misconduct and miscommunication. Took alot to just write this message If you support mental health , and you support these people just stop at once Please do not support this Arrogant inhumane behavior or business. These people are supposed to be working for and helping the community. Simple

Vibes with the staff are weird, bagels are mediocre and the cream cheese tastes sour. Go to Olde Brooklyn Bagel Shoppe instead - I live across the street and I walk 10 minutes for better bagels

The biggest issue is they give barely any cream cheese for their bagels. Itâs also a bit overpriced ($6-7 for a regular bagel with cream cheese)

Itâs fine. If you need food and everything else is closed then theyâve got you covered. I would just expect better bagels and coffee from a place that specializes in bagels and coffee.

Update: Iâve been back 2 times in a week since my last update. No flagels again. Really disappointing â- Update: since posting my original review, Bergen has had flagels the last 5 times Iâve been. I appreciate them reading my review and making flagels more consistently.

Good bagel and one of the better spots in the neighborhood.
They have good flagels on the days they make them, but never go here expecting one. Iâve been a regular customer for 2 years and still have no clue when they will be there. By far the worst thing about Bergen is the lack of consistently in this regard.
Why have flagels on the menu if you only make 10 of them every few days?

I agree with other reviews saying the workers are hostile toward women. I sat out front ordering a bagel on the app when the manager aggressively knocked on the window for me to leave. I ended up walking further away for a better bagel and service.

Freshly baked bagels with a wide variety of fillings and ingredients.
There are so many bagel options and an array of ingredients to choose from. They also offer a menu, but as tourists, we found it a bit complicated. You can either pick from the menu or create your own bagel by selecting your preferred ingredients.
We tried the "Healthy Man" and "Hungry Man" from the menu (both with Everything Bagels). As the names suggest, the Healthy Man lets you really enjoy the bagel itself, while the Hungry Man is quite hefty and packed with intense flavoursâperfect if you're in the mood for a full (or even extended) meal. They also toast the bagels before preparing the sandwiches, which was a nice touch.
The only downside was that the lady calling out orders was very quiet, so it was hard to hear when our food was ready. Aside from that, the service was fine.
