Nice little Trinidad West Indian place if you need a carib or a roti it's pretty cool.. service at bit slow because you have to order then stand to the side and if you forget something you will have to start all over again

Went on the line and heard my number called. When I went to the counter an older gentleman told me I must “step back”. I told him that they called my number- He told me he didn’t call me. I reiterated that my number was called, and the other gentleman was actually putting my order together .I guess I must be imagining things. (Me and all the other people around me who heard it. )The person at the counter was in the process of putting my rotis together – and I wanted to make sure he included all the ingredients that I ordered and paid for.Mind you there is a large glass panel between myself and those at the counter.The older gentleman wanted to argue- I simply don’t have time for this.There is a certain way that you need to learn how to talk to your customers. If you play back the tape from your camera, you will see that my number was actually called before I started even speaking to the older manager/ owner– My number was 82.The calling of the numberwas the reason I left the back of the restaurant and came to the front.Before you react, check your facts- You may actually be wrong.Too many other pleasant roti shops in Brooklyn.Skip this one.Ali’s roti shop.Roti r us.Forget this one.

Just drove from MD to Best Bites! Simple order, curry chicken roti and goat roti.... roti on the side. But can you put the roti with the order. And if you are sick and coughing. Stay at home! That is unsanitary Behavior no one should have to tell anybody that due to the we being in a covid session still.
This was my 3rd time ordering roti skin from this place and every time I give them a time to pice up when I get there it’s never ready but this last time piss me the hell off my other was for 1:00 pm they call me and ask me if I can switch for 2:00 said ok but it’s 2:30 and my order is still not ready if u can’t do orders stop taking people money and not delivering it’s disgusting never again will have to find another place very disappointing
I am sorry to say but being a loyal customer for years, it hurts me to say that I have never had anything bad to complain about until this week. I bought oxtail with white rice and steamed veggies, along with callaloo on the side. The food "LITERALLY" had no taste! I was confused?!! The oxtails were OVERCOOKED, the white rice was not grainy rice and the steam veggies had no seasoning. The callaloo was missing coconut milk, some pigtail seasoning or a saltmeat that cooked up in it. There are a younger group of servers that are not very friendly to the customers which is a "turn off" as well. I don't know what happened to this establishment but hope they will start taking in the considerations of these comments being posted and bring back the REAL "home cooks" and mature servers with manners and pleasantries. We look to patronize our people but not when a well-known establishment is slowing going to the "dogs".... Please get the good cooks back......

What kind of salt fish n bake they serving? Like They just boil di salt fish and throw it in between the fry bake. No hint of tomato or anything (wait if y'all squint alyuh eye tight tight you can see a tiny piece of it. . Y'all must do better. Especially since y'all raising prices too. I'm getting less and paying more. ..was dat?
