Bien Cuit is a must if you’re into rich, perfectly baked pastries. Everything feels super thoughtful—from the flaky tarts to the fresh bread they bake daily. Great spot to grab a treat and their back patio feels like a sweet escape from the hustle and bustle of Franklin Ave.
The staff were all super nice, but their sourdough is subpar and way overpriced. $18 for a loaf of sourdough and they don’t even slice it! It’s a real shame Winner bakery closed up the street cause their sourdough loaves were fantastic, double the flavor and half the price
Cute love it in here. Coffee is good quality, and one of the only spots where I can find a good quiche lorane. All the girls are really sweet and Damion is just a delight. Well priced and the cookies are a staple in my sweets diet.
I got priced out of the $8 (pre-tax pre-tip) croissant 😢
Delectable pastries; very generous staff and management. A true bright spot on Franklin Ave.
The croissants are always overcooked and dry, but we go anyway. Winter danish slaps
Whoever gave this less than 5 stars needs to stop. Delicious flaky pastries. Best coffee and chai lattes in the neighborhood, and the staff is sweet as ever.
Love this place
Rip to all the customers (including me) who didn’t know what bien cuit meant 😓. It’s not for me, but the place itself is cute. The service was friendly and I can see myself coming back maybe for bread or coffee. But I spent around $50 on a variety of sweets and I didn’t care for almost any of them. Typically I like crispy things but some were genuinely hard to bite or fork into.
Disappointing how a place like this sells old baguettes on a Holiday. In french, we call this arnaque / rip-off
Edit in response to message below: if hard , dry baguettes is their style, then fair enough, but doesn’t change the fact that its bad.
Always good!!

The cookies tasted salty, the pain au chocolat is overcooked but the coffee was good

Cute little bakeshop that makes fresh pastries. I ordered the chocolate croissant and asked for it to be warmed up. It was really delicious and fresh. Every time I am in here, someone is purchasing freshly basked bread so that might be my next stop.

Really cute bakery with excellent ambiance and wide array of bread options. Unfortunately I decided to get a half sourdough loaf and it really didn’t have any flavor or any of the chew I expect from a developed sourdough. It tasted like regular white bread and they also don’t slice loaves for you (they’ll cut in half to sell you a half loaf but can’t slice it further). For $11 for a half loaf, I expected a lot more.
3 stars because the woman working there was very kind and pleasant and I think I probably just ordered one bad thing on the menu. The pastries looked divine and I’m sure they would taste great. Will come again to try something else.

Normally love this place but charging $20 for a loaf of bread… it’s very clear that this establishment is for a very certain demographic within the neighborhood. Wish they made their very basic amenities accessible for everyone not just the rich yuppies.
It ain’t cheap, but wow does it taste amazing! And if you have ever been to France and marveled at how good the baked things are, well, you will once again!
