Myrtle-Broadway is a crazy crazy place but Big Boy Deli is my sanctuary. Great burgers and sandwiches and the kebab platters are delicious. Very chill, hardworking guys running it.

Best bodega in the area. Awesome fresh deli. They are fast and have never messed up my order. Counter guy is always friendly. Baked goods, elf bars, delta 8. Hopefully they get their beer license sorted out soon. I presume they throw a few bucks to the guys from the corner to sweep up, etc some times. They care about the community.

Love this bodega. Food is good, prices are reasonable and the selection is great. Not to mention it’s 24/7 and there is always something entertaining happening at all hours

Big Boy deli is my fav hub deli it is right at the hub of Myrtle:Broadway perfect for getting off and getting a nice meal for cheap and good. Love it here atmosphere and people who run it are like family to me and my daughter! Big boy (shorty) the owner is the most amazing person I’ve met in Brooklyn. All family ran business and very organized.

Big Boyz has come a long way! It is managed and operated by a crew of people on the younger end of the spectrum and they do a great job at it! They are at the “forefront”, so to speak, of the direction NYC bodegas are headed in as we go deeper into the 21st century. With that being said I want to share some of my favorite & not so favorite things about this store. First is they are the best place to get coffee when you’re not making it at home (which you should be). They are one of the handful of places that offer flavored creamer such as french vanilla & hazelnut. Second is that they have a beer cave! A beer cave as in a small refrigerated room stocked from floor to ceiling with beers. It is at the far left end of the store and has everything from rare IPA’s to Heineken Light & 6 packs of Mike’s hard lemonade. Third is the obvious which is that they are open 24/7. This is a good and a bad thing because my ONLY criticism of Big Boyz Deli is that after 1 AM it can get a bit rowdy in there. This area of Brooklyn, which is actually the borderline of Bed-Stuy & Bushwick, is a “nightlife” type of section. There are quite a few bars and small clubs which sporadically surround the decadent intersection of Broadway & Myrtle. During after hours, in the general area but specifically inside Big Boyz, it is not uncommon to cross paths with a crew of drunken stragglers or a harmless lunatic asking for change. Aside from that this place is one of the best bodegas around. Their sandwich game is on point but their halal food is also a great choice. I would definitely recommend that you stop by if you are in the area ?

I found 3 baby roaches crawling in my sandwich. Im not even lying, I wish I was. Thank god I opened it when I got home cus the dummies forgot to put hot sauce on there.

This is the best deli near me! It's conveniently located right next to the JMZ so you can pick something up right before taking off to your destination. They have a lot of cold drinks to choose from: kombucha, juices, seltzer, spiked drinks and beer. And plenty of snacks to choose from, a fresh smoothie/ juice stand and a grill. The chef makes bagels, sandwiches, quesadillas, salads and assorted fried stuff like fries and mozzarella sticks. The chef has an amazing memory and will definitely make whatever you want the RIGHT way. This spot also has a poppin display case of fresh sweets like cake, rice pudding, cupcakes. They also sell some kitchen staples like eggs, milk and flour. So if you're running into grab a bagel in the morning there's coffee filters and other things you can grab at the same time for convenience sake without having to go to the actual market. Bottom line: If you like unpretentious eats at a low cost, this is the place for you! Sandwiches are mostly under $10 and everything here is reasonably priced. You can get pipping hot food from here even late at night!
