Big New York Fried Chicken and Pizza

Take the review with a hint of salt since we live a little far out: We waited over 1:30 hour for the delivery, which ok, things get cold or soggy; not their fault and not to blame. But the food was bad. The chicken was very stringy like multiple times frozen, crust almost like glue, and taste very bitter. This was not fresh, well done, or prepped prior to order. The food here is definitely sitting for a day or two. The coleslaw was warm and bitter. The mashed potatoes had a very sour and chemical taste to them, where nothing I did could make them better. I suspect this place does not use fresh ingredients, does not use real/ up to standard methods or just makes the food for the week and sends it out through out. I dont know what to say other than, don't order from here because you will either end up with a bad night or possibly sick.To the owners or Chef: Step up your game. This is sickly what you are letting out and it aint good to make customers sick over this.

Décoration et agencement vieillots, seulement 3 ou 4 tables, c'est très petit et on y commande pour emporter généralement.Nous on été un peu crevés, du coup on est resté manger à l'intérieur...Et que vous dire à part qu'on y a mangé nos meilleurs burgers de notre séjour, et devrais je dire de nos 3 sejours! Oubliez les Shack, Nathan's, Counter ou Mac do...Chez Big NY, on y mange du vrai, de l'authentique burger. C'est bon, sans fioriture, et pas cher !L'employé qui nous a reçu a semblé surpris dans un premier temps de voir débarquer un couple de Frenchies, mais il nous a vraiment très bien accueilli, il a pris le temps de nous expliquer et de parler lentement, ce qui est très rare.Bref on a vraiment aimé, et on peut que vous le conseiller, en journée.C'est par contre un quartier où je ne me risquerai pas de me rendre le soir, mais en journée, pas de soucis.Le resto se trouve juste à la station de métro ligne 7 station 21st-Queensbridge, la station juste après Roosevelt Island quand on vient de Manhattan. Ce resto est donc parfait pour manger après la visite de l'île où il y a très peu de point de restauration.On y retournera pour notre 4eme séjour, c'est certain. Un vrai coup de cœur pour nous qui recherchions un peu d'authenticité à NY !
