On vacation in New York for 2 weeks, we went to have lunch in this restaurant, quite by chance. Don’t hesitate! There were 5 of us, 2 young parents who live there, with a baby in a pram and 2 happy grandparents. The establishment is small, but superb, very beautiful decor, and the value for money for New York is really great. The boss is French, very friendly, as are all his staff. Special mention to his friend from Brussels. We had a great time, and above all, we ate very well, everything was delicious and plentiful. THANKS ! Delighted high alpines.

Wanted to try it, but their claim of being wheelchair accessible is wrong. It is not. The covered entryway is too small, and combined with the steep ramp up, the entrance NOT compliant with ADA guidelines. This could be fixed with a bigger covered entry that allows room to navigate in a wheelchair before turning to enter the door.
As-is, this venue is not accessible.

Rather a small & cozy restaurant with limited seating. We arrived without a reservation but they managed to squeeze us 3 in a spot by the window. All we ordered were good. Especially like their very flavourful garlic parsley french fries. Unfortunately one of the dishes we ordered, ravioli did not arrived until all other dishes were long done. Two different waiters came by and promised they looked into it but … Finally it arrived but with the tomatoes sauce and not the cream sauce we asked for. At last no complaint as food is good. Anyways would’ve given a 5 stars had the service been better.

It was a good dinner experience - would recommend their stake tartare and beef bourguignon along with all the deserts! Amazing service. The only downside is a strong outdoor inside the restaurant.

2 different dishes ordered, both had no flavor. I don't understand the good rating for this establishment. Moreover, the staff is not very pleasant.
+2 stars for the decor.

My friend and I went here for dinner recently on a chilly evening and were welcomed with a cozy environment paired with delicious food. We started with their ham and cheese croquettes, which melted in our mouth. Paired with the filet mignon carpaccio, which was so flavorful with each bite. For our mains, I chose the cream ravioli and it was the perfect balance. My friend ordered the big tiny cassoulet and potato gratin, both were bursting with flavor. The service was prompt and friendly, making everyone feel like a regular. Can’t wait to come back.

A friend and I were able to walk in at about 7pm on a Wednesday night (the night before Thanksgiving, I should add!) and we were immediately greeted by the staff and given a choice of whatever open table they had.
The vibe was warm and cozy, and you could tell that the crowd was a crowd of regulars who were enjoying time with their loved ones over great food and wine. I picture myself spending a lot of time here as the weather is cooling down.
I got a glass of one of their red wine specials (apologies for not remembering the name!). The menu has so many good options but we landed on the croquettes, the filet mignon carpaccio, the cassoulet, raviolini, and potato gratin, all of which we split. It’s difficult to pick favorites as all were fantastic and cooked to perfection. Don’t expect a quick meal as everything was prepared fresh and is homemade.
The service was spectacular. This is the perfect place to bring loved ones - whether it be friends, family, or lovers - and enjoy wonderful food and conversation. Overall, gem of a spot.

The big tiny is one of the many culinary gems in this neighborhood. It’s a casual dinner spot with excellent french comfort food. I had high expectations for this place and it did not disappoint.
Wheelchair accessibility: ♿️ It is not the most accessible. If I remember correctly, there was a small ramp up for the main entrance but as the name suggests it is a tiny space, so it could be tough to maneuver. I would strongly recommend calling ahead if you use a wheelchair to ask about accommodations.

You can't order wrong here! Everything is wonderful and served appropriately. The owner/hosts are present and care that you are enjoying yourselves. On our second visit, we had to get the carpaccio again, as well as two types of oysters, wonderful, tender octopus, and a well cooked steak. We can't wait to go back. Of course, the wine list is also very good.
