Extremely disappointing and problematic. There were four of us for brunch. One person's dish was served well before the rest, so either their food got cold or he had to start eating alone before everyone else. We didn't make a big deal of it. Then the eggs Benedict arrived—completely overcooked and hard. A failed dish. The burger was good—really the only dish that was up to standard. Then came the big issue with payment: we were told they didn't accept cards...
Place was cute and the staff were nice to me and my boyfriend. The food was mediocre at best and heavily overpriced. I felt like the food in particular was very bland. We had ordered the Persian soup and the grilled salmon.
We keep coming back and it never disappoints! Bijan’s has become one of our absolute favorite spots in New York. The food and cocktails are consistently amazing, but what really sets it apart is the service. Every time we come in, whether brunch or a spontaneous dinner, we always see one server who remembers us, our usual drinks, and always makes great conversation.
