We spontaneously happened to walk into this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly and polite from the moment we ordered! The food was great, AMAZING house salad and pizza! Such a nice location, its right near the water with a view of Manhattan. 100% recommend stopping in, definitely worth it!

I give 1 star because it doesn't allow me to give less, otherwise it would be a -10!The lady who served was not very friendly and treated us awkwardly, standing next to the table like a statue waiting for us to tell her what we were going to order. Very rude, smiled sarcasticallyWe asked for the WiFi password and the lady said she didn't know it (unbelievable), she told us to connect to Dumbo's network, which didn't work.Prices too high for what they offer. I would have preferred them to tell me that they were closing so I wouldn't have to have such a bad time and pay almost USD 80 for 2 plates of spaghetti pomodoro, 1 Diet Coke and 1 tap water!Regrettable! If they are going to serve customers like this, it would be good for them to dedicate themselves to something else or change staffIt was the worst experience of my life in a restaurant.If you don't want to have a horror experience, don't go to this restaurant

The lady that works here is imprudent and delusional. We visited Birbante on the Christmas eve, waited in the line outside the restaurant door for 30 minutes. We went through the menu and called the lady as we were ready with our order and this is exactly how the conversation went, "Lady: Are you ready with your order? Me: Yes, (points to the dish on the menu and speaks it out to her) Lady: Okay let me know when you are ready with your order(Walks away with a sarcastic smile)". We were going to confront the lady with respect to her unsolicited behavior, but she ignored our table for a good 10 minutes after that. This is when we just decided to walk away from the restaurant. Oh btw the food truck in front of this restaurant is a no miss! Please do visit that truck it won't disappoint you unlike some "Birbante". Birbante means a mischievous child rascal in Italian. They are loyal to their restaurant theme I'll give them that

The lady handling the customers is extremely rude and unwelcoming.The arrogance of feeling like their food and food culture is better than everyone is the result of customers leaving at times even before ordering anything. I would personally recommend to every person I have beef with to go and eat at this place so they have the worst experience..

We arrived at 3 pm, it was empty, thank God, we were tired because all the restaurants were too full. That's great, because Julia treated us wonderfully, super friendly, I loved the Christmas music. We were celebrating New Year's and my daughter's birthday. Everything was perfect.

Julia was wonderful! She was friendly and attentive and took great pride in the food. The food was great! We were a party of 5; me, my husband, and 3 kids. My 9 year old kept saying 5 stars mommy. Excellent overall experience.
