If you want to go to a place to take photos of your food and act like you're eating a luxurious Carribean meal this is the place for you. If you're looking for authentic tasty Carribean food go to queens because this place lacks any authenticity. On top of that the service is horrible. I try to show love to all the black owned businesses because I know how hard it is to make it but I was extremely disappointed in the service and management. Food takes forever the come out so only go if you have 4/5 hours to waste waiting on mediocre food. What Carribean restaurant doesn't serve Caribbean deserts??? The attitude of the waitresses and manager/owner need to be adjusted the best customer to have is a returning customer and I can tell they rarely get those. I should've believed the other reviews. I wasted time and money and the food had my stomach doing backflips when I got home. đđ

Really hard to find great customer service in a fast paced nyc. Great customer service . Great food. Tasty and more than enough. That means youre getting your money worth. Very patient and pleasant staff. Great music and beautiful scenery. Definitely will be back for my birthday in December. Went for brunch and it was amazing. Couldn't try all the delights due to being allergic to coconut. Bake was tasty . Saltfish a bit salty. Don't think sauce needed to be on the bake. The food was still great. Also had the salmon bites very delicious and great sauce and fresh salad perfect. Cousin ordered the island toast great presentation and lovely tasting my cousin words.

We had the pleasure of eating here for my birthday weekend. The food is absolutely amazing! We both had oxtail with white rice. The waitress, Nyesha was superb! Customer service is on point! Definitely recommend you dining in at Bird Pepper.

Went on a date for dinner Saturday night , the environment ambiance was pretty nice and welcoming . I ordered basically pasta with salmon and the food was ok not too bad , but the portion of pasta was way too much and the salmon wasnât seasoned but overall I made the best of it. As far as our waiter he wasnât attentive and I had to repeatedly remind him of things we wanted. The seating was ok I believe they need bigger tables for the food and drinks it was barely space for both to be on the table. I would maybe go back just try to again and see if I experience different.

Visited this restaurant in October 2025 . Drinks couldnât taste the liquor drink was more like a fruit punch juice. Mac and Cheese horrible just oily noodles with cheese barely melted on top. Wings were good. Wouldnât go back service subpar tip is included so places like that usually donât care to service when their top is guaranteed. Ambiance is cute inside
