The night of the event, not only was the food delicious, but Mike & Jacqui were professional, flexible & helpful. Jacqui even dug around in the kitchen to help find candles for the birthday cake when we realized we didn't bring any. I would absolutely work with them again, and recommend their catering services for any event.

Bitchn Kitchn was great for catering our Sunday farewell brunch after our wedding. We did a “brunch grazing table” for about 100 guests - the food was delicious, plentiful, and exactly what we wanted. Mike and Jacqui are so sweet and worked super hard to make sure we were taken care of.

They walked us through their menu, helped us pick what was best for our guests (who were a mix of vegans and non-vegans, as well as people with severe allergies), and were responsive whenever we had follow-up questions. She kept everything tidy, set up each part of the meal with efficiency and grace, and just made sure all of the folks at our reception were enjoying their meals. I used this business for my moms surprise 60th birthday. Jacqui was kind, flexible knowledgeable and professional during every encounter we had. I met Chef Mike the night of the event. He came and introduced himself to my mom and explained each and every dish to her making it a real 5 star experience. Jacqui asked specially what kind of food my mom like and Chef Mike made a menu based on that. Every dish was delicious! I had several less people than I anticipated and the food was still devoured ?. Everyone at the party complimented the food and left full and happy. Both of them were so nice and made my mom feel so special I really cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience! Booking BiTcHn KiTcHn for my 40th birthday party at Crystal Lake was one of the best decisions I made for my milestone event! They were so easy to communicate with, provided the most incredible (and also photogenic!) food that all my guests loved, and even created an amazing birthday cake based on my very vague instructions (just my favorite color) that surpassed all my expectations. They are also the kindest people -- Jacqui made me my own plate of food that night to make sure I got to try everything (and eat -- it can be so overwhelming when you are the host!). She also answered my questions so quickly, even up to the last minute when I was asking if i could use the sparkler candles I brought (little did I know the cake they made already had the best, most festive candles included!). She also coordinated everything swiftly, from when to bring out food to presenting the cake, taking away a lot of my stress and making my celebration what it was. My husband and I so look forward to booking them for future events!!

Jacqueline really took the time to ask me about my theme, what kind of boards I’d be interested in, and really gave it 100% when it came to attention to detail. My guests devoured everything on site and they were thrilled when I did trays of late-night fries (which I added last minute and were so so so good.) Besides the food itself just being amazing, BiTcHn KiTcHn NYC really just took the burden of planning food off my shoulders, I pretty much just had the one conversation and it trusted them completely and it turned out better than I could have imagined. I definitely know who to hit up for any future catering needs, and highly recommend you put your trust in them like I did!

We've been going to Crystal Lake for a while, and although the previous taco pop-up was great, Bitchn Kitchn is outrageous and I can't imagine a world without them now.Before we even get to the food - Jackie is one of the sweetest, friendliest folks out there, and she takes time to set expectations if Mike/the kitchen is unusually busy. Trust her judgment, too. If she recommends something, you won't be disappointed because...The food is incredible. We were hooked after trying the Shepherd Pie Balls. They aren't on the menu anymore but I dream about their return. The chili is insanely flavorful and is a generous helping. But if there's one thing to try it's the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and be sure to get it with the chimichurri mayo.In conclusion, great people serving up great food.
