This is the best food I’ve ever had. I need to go back a couple more times to try everything on the menu. Great prices, great portions, great quality. Staff was super friendly, even corrected my order when I accidentally said it wrong outloud. Grateful and thankful they exist! (Candied yams were incredible ate them so fast forgot to take a photo)

Walked and everyone seemed like they didn’t want to be there - mind you - I do understand - it was 11 pm. Ordered a jerk chicken with rice and salad. It was ok. Like 6.5 / 10 . I was just underwhelmed with everything. Overall - everything was just ok. Should try once at least - might have a difference experience. The overall reviews are pretty good.

Whatever you do, don’t get HALAL food here. This is not a HALAL food spot. This is clearly a soul food spot. The lamb over rice/ lamb gyro is minced meat & has absolutely no flavor, as well as the rice. The white sauce tastes like MAYO. The atmosphere was just miserable, & I wasted $26. How is this place called a halal spot but has not one clue how to make halal food 🤔🤔🤔. Save your money & don’t waste it like I did. Tik tok got me again smh
